FaeryElise (Pronounced Fairy Elise) is a Norwegian gamer and comic artist. She is an openly trans woman and uses the pronouns She/Her.
History
Born and raised in Norway, Elise spent her early years playing various video games. Often with her brother who is known as Isbjørn in various media.
In March 2010, she created the internet alias of "ElToroGuaco" to go with her creative needs. She made a deviantart page of same name and started drawing dragons. In the decade that passed, she tried out various artforms like manga/anime, concept arts, fanart and comics. She often struggled in the job market until she in 2019 got a job at a Norwegian comic/pop-culture shop that she is still working at today. In October 2020, she made the webtoon The Bored Ghost that is a cute little story of a ghost named Alan and his friends in their everyday afterlife at an English graveyard.
She had struggled with her identity her entire life, never fitting in with who she is, but being too afraid to let her feelings free. This unhealthy restraining of emotions eventually became too much for her and in June 2021 she gave in and publicly came out as a Trans woman. Things went rather well from then on. Changing her name from ElToroGuaco to FearyElise and changing up her wardrobe. Her family, friends and coworkers were very welcoming, making this a rare wholesome coming out story.
Pre-Dogcraft
Elise started playing Minecraft in 2017 after watching online videos about the game and quickly became a fan. She played in a server with friends for a while before discovering Hermitcraft through Grian and MumboJumbo's videos. She quickly started following the Hermits and eventually joined False Symmetry's patreon server. She got the chance to even meet False and the symmetrians in 2019 at a London meetup. She left Symmetria in late 2020 after falling out from the community.
On Dogcraft
After being distant from Minecraft for a while, Elise wanted to join a server to play with people again. Still being a fan of Hermitcraft she decided to check out Dogcraft. She had played with the CyberDog community a little in the past during some RenDog livestreams and therefore wasn't unfamiliar with the comminty and what they did.
After joining the server and riding the SRN for a bit before settling by the end of the Northern line and built a little started house to not be attacked by mobs. She started working on a castle in the Creative server, planning to go with a fantasy theme to match her Fairy inspired username. Then the announcement that 1.18 would reset the server and bring it to Survival Five, (Sur5, SurFive) got announced. Elise scratched her plans for Sur4 and decided to move her fairy den plans to sur5, continuing her work in creative instead.
