Elytra Race: Returns

Hey everyone! Back on the days of the old forum and Survival One, I hosted a popular competition called Elytra Racers. Ever since then, I have been wanting to host some again! Given that everyone has now settled in on the Survival 2 world, I feel like it is time once again to host a race :-)

How do the races work?
The races are very simple. You fly from one location at a starting point and must make it to the other end at the finishing line using your elytra. No teleporting! The new thing is, that because of the rockets we have now the skill requirement of boost bows has lowered the ceiling for participating in the races. No matter, though, as I will make the distances longer to compensate! The top three players who come first, second and third win prizes.

Where will this race be to/from?
The first Elytra Race of the Survival 2 world will take place from Spawn Castle all the way to Akkara City.

When?
On the 17th of February 2018 at 8:00PM GMT / 12:00PM PT. The race and stuff should last around an hour with all the events! If you want to host a race in the future, please contact me :-)

I have updated the time - It will now be held at 8PM GMT / 12PM PT. Sorry for any confusion.
This is because I got the time wrong, and also to allow you west coast people to participate without getting up at 12AM on a Saturday (who wants to do that?!)

The old races on S1 were great fun! It will be good to have those again.

Is the race "bring your own rocket" or will rockets be provided? If it is "BYOR" are there any specifications on what you are or are not allowed to bring?

You are not allowed to bring tnt and bomb akkara before everyone gets there
