We went on a camping trip in sur2!
...and followed a couple of simple rules:

• Bring nothing. No gear, no inventory. Leave all behind.
• No teleporting. (except when you die, then you can use /back)
• Keep moving. only take along the stuff you can carry.
• At the end of the trip, leave all your acquired stuff at the end location.

Trip members:
zap_plays, marbou9, FastShift078, Gumby1, heatjr, Aeghu and _edo.

Here are my photos of the trip:


We started in Havana. From there we took the NTN track south as far as it went.


In the overworld we traveled further south. Setting up camp a couple of times, to get though the nights and cook some food.


We found some dawgs that joined us


We dug for diamonds... and played some music!


Traveled further with the dawgs...


And set up our final base.

Yeah, I think our trip lasted 3 hours or so. It was all very impromptu. I just asked in chat who wanted to join to tp to me in Havana, and off we went.

I don't know what people think - but maybe a mob head hunt/camping trip could be quite fun? Travelling to different biomes to get the heads of the mobs that live there could give it another purpose? Either way I'm up for another trip anytime!

Could even make it a friendly competition type thing - whoever gets the most heads in say a 2 hour trip gets all the heads collected by everyone or some other prize?

I'm surely hoping to do it again, and post about it again. Btw, it's not like I have a monopoly on camping trips. Everyone can do it. It's really not that hard, right?

Yes, it might be nice to do it every other weekend or so. (next weekend I can't, btw)

Competitions always stress me out :-/
I very un-fondly remember falling during a sack race as a kid and crying like a baby. Never got over it... seriously, I should tell my shrink... dang... I should*.
