It is difficult because of how there is a building palette that I love, but out of that building palette, I would choose spruce wood.

I've come to really like purpur. It's unusual, and I like color, and it comes in stairs. I've only used it in creative, but it's really awesome.

Although I also really am coming to like red nether brick as well, so take that as you will.

Glazed terracotta, without doubt. It's the reason I'm got back into playing, and the reason I stopped building underground and moved on up in the world. If I were to pick a 'best' of the colors, it would have to be between White and Orange glazed terracotta; they both have great color interaction and can bridge a gap between warm and cool colors.

Orange glazed terra-cotta is AMAZING! I’m using it as a focal point in my single-player world, making a tropical port town with those colors as the town colors and the pattern as its standard <3 Seriously, glazed terra-cotta is still severely under loved.

Although I will also shout out for purple glazed since it makes an awesome mosaic for the entrance to my pirate town!

Definitely spruce plants in terms of how often i use them, but i love green concrete/terracotta and chiseled stone bricks

I still love good old cobblestone. For floors, I find birch logs placed sideways look amazing.
