I feel we should add a way to prank friends on survival. But as always, we need protection. I think we should add some sort of way to whitelist people into our base, and allow them to prank us, with our acceptance, and without being "illegal" to the server. Please Read this dev's and make this happen

You can 'trust' other players on your claimed land. See inworld commands like /trust <player name> /trustlist /accesstrust /containertrust /permissiontrust

I suggest that you put up a sign area where each person agreeing to the pranks has placed a sign.  They put the sign up and they take it down when they no longer want to play.  This way, if they don't like a prank and they go to the mods, you can show that they agreed to it.
