The mobile version blows!
« on: April 30, 2017, 11:36:26 am »
The mobile version of this site is so
bad that... Well... It sucks. Basicly
I am unable to read everything.
To illustrate what i mean: I have to
press Enter every time i reach the
edge of the screen, in order to read
what i'm wrighting. And as you can
see, it's quite a small portion of the
screen that i can see.
Some of you may think: "Why don't
he just use the "request full computer
version" function in his browser?"
Well, i've tryed, both in Chrome and
Safari, but it just returnes the mobile
version.

What i'm trying to say is: It's quite
unsatesfying to only read half a post.
Please disable the mobile site, or at
least let me load the computer version.

Thank you, i am glad you like my work.

Unfortunately, while the website itself is mobile compatible (my work) i am afraid that SMF (the forum) is not mobile compatible. I am currently looking for ways to rectify this issue.

i just wanna say something matti has been working his little behind off getting the site back up in running as fast as he can he does have a real life that he attends to as well.  so yeah  mobile version is taking more time to get up and running to its fullest but it will get there just gotta give it some time. :)

The best part is the computer version is working like a charm. The only thing that needs to be added is some responsive features on the forum part.

Although it looks simple just adding some features or options it could break the complete website if not done with care. (been there, done that and got the t-shirt)

So i would say focus on the more important stuff first and if you have time look into possibilities to make the forum responsive. (the SMF forums are talking about some different themes that got options for it. Maybe it's possible to get some CSS stuff that is needed out of those themes. )

I'm assuming everything is always a work in progress. In this case its just the forum, at least he's gotten the other stuff on the website finished

I would just like to say that as a web designer what matti and the website team were able to pull of here is nothing short of incredible.  To make this site so fast and have it work so good is crazy.  And although i really wish there was a mobile site, I totally understand just how much of a pain in the butt it is to make them.  Thanks for all the great work guys!!
