Hey everyone,
Just went to download the new version of optifine but came across a scam.  There is a website called www.topminecraftmods.com/optifine‎ that looks the same as optifine.net, however it downloads a virus to your computer, instead of optifine. This was the first hit on a google search so before downloading optifine make sure you are on optifine.net.

The correct address is https://optifine.net/downloads. This has been an issue for other users before. Sorry you had some problems.

Oh no! This is a big bummer! Does anyone know if they ever released a version for Mac? It's such a beautiful software and would love to see it available for us cult users as well.
