Gadgets in the shop

Hello, newbie-question here, but I could not find an answer in the FAQ.
Is there a place that explains how the gadgets in the shop work? For example: How does the Rocket work, and can u use it in survival?

The gadgets in the shop are just for fun. They are no help in survival. dont bother with them untill you have so much money you can afford to spend 30K. iv heard the firework gadget is the best.
