Wondering if I made a mistake. . .

Hello all!
I have just joined the server and have been playing for a while on survival (1?). I cant seem to find a spot anywhere to start where I don't run in to someones claim. When I mine i seem to hit other peoples mines. Should I go further out? Or should I just give up and start again on survival2? The only reason I stay on survival is because it seems that all the quests are there and everyone says to complete the quests. One more question. If I buy a wood home in the shop can I build a house in survival and survival2?

Hi David!

You better start over on Survival 2. The majority of the players plays there!

Yes, wood home allows you to set homes in both worlds.

I did the same thing when I started and began playing in Survival 1. It took a lot of jumping around with the /rtp command to find a free spot, and even then there were other bases nearby. I jumped to Survival 2 and started over, only going back to un-claim some of my claimed blocks and complete the quests. Survival 2 is definitely where everything is happening and has lots of unclaimed space still.

A big thank you to everyone! I started over on sur2 and found a place on my second rtp! Also a huge Thanks to BriGuy439! Last night he set me and a few other Cyberdogs up with some enchanted iron gear he was trying to get rid of. As far as I know I'm not near anyone else so I don't feel like I'm stepping on anyone elses toes. Having a blast on the server! This is the best community!

Well, as more time goes on, it will be more difficult to have a base near spawn, no matter which survival server your in. So the best recommendation is to travel out a bit (with a minimum of about 750 blocks from spawn) if you want a large amount of space.
