Each wood has its own advantages and disadvantages. The majority voted Acacia ugly, but it is one of the only (3?) orange blocks
This was actually surprising
Personally I like Spruce the most by far

Orange blocks:

Red sandstone (including chiselled, smooth, slab and stairs), red sand, orange wool (including carpet and banners), orange terracotta, orange glass (including panes), orange concrete powder, orange concrete, pumpkin, jack-o-lantern, magma and... acacia planks/slab/stairs/fence/gate.

We're not shy of orange blocks.

Hate jungle wood, but like the planks. Love spruce planks with dark oak wood as accents and some oak planks for designs.

I love most of the wood textures and all planks are usable in some way. It's just the birch logs that puzzle me a bit. I haven't been able to use it in a build that looked good in vanilla texture pack. As a birch tree it isn't ugly per se, but it's just a weird block to combine with any of the blocks in minecraft.

It's a good match for sandstone. I like to combine birch and sandstone to get good light.

I wouldn't call it "ugly" per se, but I am personally not fond of Jungle Wood. As a wood, or as planks. I only have it for anywhere on my base for cocoa beans.

I am actually playing Minecraft on my Xbox and I am in a mushroom biome and terraforming part of it with spruce wood planks. Even without a texture pack it actually looks a lot nicer than I originally thought.

But I stick by what I said: I hate jungle wood planks, but love the logs.

Idea: maybe add more options to the poll (jungle logs, jungle planks, etc. - add planks because some people like a plank but not the logs, or vice versa).

Thanks,

-----Limo

The Answer is obvious, Jungle. it has that weird light light brown texture.

I don't particularly like Birch in any texture pack I've used, it's too pale to be used in most of my builds

I voted for the one I use the least because I don't think any of the vanilla wood textures are ugly, I just wanted to say that  :)

Yea, the acacia tree looks fine but the planks are disgusting

Birch logs are ugly. Apart from that, the jungle planks are a bit awkward to use. Acacia logs have the orange part, which is usually not desirable, but if you can hide it, the gray bark is beautiful in the vast majority of builds. Acacia planks are also rather situational.
