With the server updated, I can no longer log in. Forge is in beta, which works. Optifine beta crashes my client. Any ideas what I can do?

Yup, literally can't use any mods right now, not a big deal but I liked my mini map. Optifine is almost a necessity but I'll be fine without it. I'll be working on my storage system till its out I bet anyways. Thanks

Please note that only Optifine and shaders mods may be used on our server. Any other mods, including minimap mods, are not permitted.

It's much easier to permit a certain few mods that don't provide any unfair advantages over other players, than it is to make a list of disallowed mods.

Just a smidge late there. Optifine for 1.12.1 was released a few hours before you posted.

We always recommend that players get it directly from optifine.net rather than other plugin sites.

Interestingly, optifine.net does not seem to be working for me right now. Is it maybe because everybody is trying to access it at the same time? Hmm... Guess I'll try later.

The site has been down for a few days. I found a backdoor link to the download. http://optifined.net/adload.php?f=OptiFine_1.12.1_HD_U_C5.jar Go to the page and after a few seconds the link will show up in the middle of the page.

The .jar file is an executable, double click it and it will prompt you for the install path to your Minecraft folder.
