The competition has been closed, and the judges are deliberating feircely.
Stay tuned for next monday, when we announce the winners

I'd like to use this moment to thank everyone who submitted a valid entry into the competition.
The competing books are (all of these will be found in the Havana library after the competition):

- Plastic Energy, by gamerluuk
- Yoda Tales, by TheSithMeow
- Smile, by Jake_Fabulous
- Havana, by Jake_Fabulous
- Mayan Heritage, by William278
- The Helnight, by BraynCel

Each book will be judged on their suitability for their specific category, their mastery of English Spelling, the coherence and volume of the text (is the content of the book consistent across it's entirety) and overall enjoyment of reading the material.
Good luck to all, and may the best writer win!

unfortunatly, we've also had to omit 2 books that have been submitted, on the grounds that they were too short, and thus did not comply to the guidelines of this competition. If your book is not on the list, I'll try and contact you personally about it. please do not use this thread to complain about it. if you feel it was unjust, tell me that directly, and we'll have a conversation.

I was expecting more than 5 'opponents'. But hey, the higher the chance of winning.

And the winners are:

Poetry:  yoda tales by TheSithMeow
Fiction:  the Helnight by BraynCel
Havana:  Havana by Jake_Fabulous

We'd like to thank everyone who participated, and whilst the winners can expect a shulkerbox with goodies in the future, we found the runners up so good, we decided to give them some prizes as well. So all participants of the competition can expect me contacting them in the near future. (you're also welcome to contact me ;) )

A special thanks to all the people who made this contest possible, and we hope to do this again in the future!

Non-fiction was indeed a category, but not one that had submissions, unfortunately. Your book was categorized in fiction, if that's why you were asking.

Why fiction? It was clearly something that happened in real life! ;-p
Nah, just kidding. I was just curious about it.

All accepted submissions have now been added to the Havana Library as well. Everyone can feel free to come and read them for free, please do leave them in the chest afterwards though.
