Hello Everyone! Especially Mods & Admins after doing my first post which was just over 20 words i recieved 2000 dcd is this right? I am sure it ist and if it isnt i want it fixed! Dont want the ecomemy broken... That would be pretyy bad i must say!
Hope you can fix this if it is broken!

I think this is intended, every post on the forum grants you a minimum of 100 DCD, and can be increased by 50 DCD per word to a maximum of 5,000 DCD. We'll have to do some re-balancing if needed ^^

In my opinion you should make it so that you don't gain DCD unless your minecraft account is linked, because if you're not part of the server you really have no use for DCD, but that's up to you, it's just my opinion.

That is your opinion. Mine is that it's nice to save them up and then I can gift them to users if I want

Or you might not play on the server yet but plan to. you still are able to earn dcd before you join this way, and when you join you have a starting balance to spend.

I think it should stay because it is making a better community by making people talk more and share more ideas to make the server a better place. It also makes people want to share ideas more because they get a gift for doing so (being dcd) which can then help them on the server.

I think this amount if fine. I dont think starting a new topic should be a "bonus" amount though. We dont want the forum flooded with threads about nothing.

I appreciate you thinking about this. We have thought of this, as DCD farming and spam are something that can become an issue, even in a community as wonderful as ours. We would hope that our users would not abuse the DCD system that is in place on our forums, however, if we find ourselves needing to move and merge too many topics for a specific user (or users), we are able to message them to request they stop. If a user chooses beyond that, then warnings are a possibility.

That being said, I expect with our forums being squeaky clean, there will be a lot of new topics cropping up. I certainly am not discouraging unique topics that encourage replies.

Thankyou for all your answers! To be hinest i just wanted to clarify as in the current​ economy i can buy 8 shulker boxes by sending 3 Posts on here. I understand we want people to use the forums but i think it has gone from earning 2000 dcd for a million word thing to the newer web page where we earn 8000 dcd for 50 words it just doesn't​ seem right and i would rather it be considered now rather than the time where new starters have 10 million dcd after posting a couple things, sorry for the longer message

A very good thing to consider. As I cannot play on the server most days (oh my goodness 7FPS makes things difficult) it is something that I wouldn't have thought of. It may be tweaked as time moves on.

Its good to get the new players started but I think they should nerve it down at least a little bit. Because 5k dcd is a lot in the current economy on dogcraft. Like if you respond to every post with atleast 50 words you'll be rich in no time.

Don't know if it is possible but i think they should put a 24 hours limit on it. Like if you reached the limit you need to wait a day before being able to earn more from posting. My vote would be max 10k DCD a day on the forum. Maybe even less.

In my opinion DCD needs to be a little bit challenging to get. Else you cant see it as a reward and the currency would crash. Just check a reallife currency like the Iranial Rial. For just 31 US Dollars you would be a millionaire there.

And it is better to nerve it down early than doing it when it's to late.
