Just as the title says; I am in the preparation stage of making a new wither farm for survival 2. Now, I say "making" like its going to be some fancy over-the-top contraption, however the truth is that all I will be doing is my best in creating the most optimal conditions possible for mob spawning on the nether fortress. The plan is pretty straight forward. Slab the floor, mine out the rest and lay down multiple nether brick layers. The difficult part is the size of this endeavor. As said, I want to create a space with the most optimal conditions. So, everything outside of the farm, but still within render distance will either have slabs or be deleted. The farm itself will be manual, so grab your armor and sharpen your sword. You might get hurt. The size and shape of the spawning platforms is still being decided. What I want is a lot, and it will require the cooperation of many people on the server, but I want to make this so everyone can use it.

I asked about something similar not too long ago and was informed that a public wither farm isn't an acceptable build. There are limited public farms and ~all~ of them are planned and approved of/built by staff and staff volunteers. You can certainly suggest/request certain public farms, but you have to have staff approval and work with them to get it underway.

I know that if you want to build your own personal farm you'Âre welcome to - just make sure to claim the land so it'’s private.

I also believe that massive, industrial-scale farms are not approved of on the server, though mods can certainly correct me on this. Information about the size/number of farms allowed per player isn't posted on the website and needs to be.
