Discord Music Bot

I have a suggestion,
Maybe there can be a music bot on the discord server, you know.. to play songs.

Ofcourse there will have to be strict rules, such as:
No inappropiate songs
No troll songs
No earr#pe
No swearing

Let me know what you think of this idea

I believe Discord is trying to get rid of most of the bots and if I want to listen to music I prefer to use youtube or spotify. If you feel like sharing music with people you can always post a link to the song on youtube in shameless plugs or something of the kind.

Personaly I like to have discord running in the background and having a bot play music kinda ruins that for me.

We could make it a separate lobby so if you dont wanna listen to it you dont have to

You can just use spotify. Music bots tend to be unstable at times and so you might as well open another tab in Google Chrome (or whatever browser you use)

Not sure rebroadcasting commercial music without a license is the best way forward for the official Discord server.

Make it simple. We don't need bots. Just go on Spotify or YouTube or whatever and create a playlist (and use Adblock). Done! All our problems solved!
