Sorry if this is in the FAQ's or a forum thread already.  I did search honest but couldn't find anything.

I already claimed some land with a chest then a golden shovel to extend.  obviously I could only extend it so far.  My question is can you create bigger claims e.g. by spending dogcraft dollars? and is there a limit to how a big your claims can be and how many you can have?

Yeah, you can buy more claim blocks with dcd, here: http://dogcraft.net/shop.php.
You can have many many separate claims all over the survival world (in overworld, the nether and the end). I also haven't seen any limit to how big those claims can be (I've made some pretty big claims of many hundreds of blocks in each direction).

Handy: To keep somewhat of an overview of all your claims you can use the /claimslist command.
