Super Smelter Building
« on: January 31, 2018, 09:52:41 am »
So I was wanting to build a super smelter on my friend's server for my girlfriend and I to use.  I'd seen one on another Hermit's videos in their base, and using the revised ilmango design, I installed it, but it needed a cool building to hold it.  So behold!

The majority is Spruce and Dark Oak, with dark oak logs for the frame, beams, and dark oak stairs and slabs to add depth and accents.  The smokestacks are partial designs I got from a japanese sauna video, meant to vent out all the smoke from the massive amount of furnaces running inside.  For the interior the lower level is brick, as my girlfriend said it reminded her of a pizza place, and the upper level (not easily seen) is glass and stone to give it a factory feel.

Feel free to comment on it, or if ya want other specific images.

are you using a rail design or a hopper one?

Looks impressive dragonranger,  I really like the smoke stacks and the sense of depth you've given it.

It is a nice mix of wood you used for the build. Good job!

Cooking with gas! Hope you could use up some of the furnaces from the quest. Have mine still lying arround ;-)

Looking very fine.
