Useless Minecraft Life Lessons

so I was looking at the MC wikki and was looking at some mob behavior when I got this idea!
Just a post to talk about things that you learned you should never do that came from minecraft!

Here are two examples
-If you see a horse in the middle of the ocean. Don't go near it. Lightning will strike and bad things will happen.
-If you see a hulking iron brute. Don't hit it. It hits harder

A follow-up to 'lava is not your friend.'

Don't dig the block under you, especially if it is above lava at lvl 11.

/Back is your friend.

Lesson: Be careful on a claim-enabled server when working around lava in the nether.

Redstone tick speeds differ between Vanilla and Spigot, and maybe Bukkit. . .

I've learned this the hard way

Speaking of claims, water for farms will not go outside your claim, nor flow in from unclaimed land.

I knew water would not flow in, but I didn't know it would not flow out
