The Transport Triathlon was a point to point race across Akita, hosted by the management of several transport networks on the 30th of October 2022. The event was made possible by the increasing layers and integration of transports networks on Dogcraft, with the event route utlising four - the Nether Transport Network (NTN), Connected Seas Coalition (CSC), .Path Network Group (.PNG), and Survival Railway Network (SRN).

Triathlon Route

Players were required to pick up a unique token from marshals placed around the route. The tokens corresponded to the network whose leg of the route they had just completed, four in total.

  • Start - NTN Hub
  • Checkpoint One - NTN Portal at Moor Station
  • Checkpoint Two - CSC South Station Port
  • Checkpoint Three - .PNG stables at Ember Perch Station
  • Checkpoint Four - SRN Grand Central Station (Akita)
  • Finish - NTN Hub

Raceday

The route was revealed to participants and they lined up across the line in the NTN. Quickly boating to Moor Station, the competition was bunched. However, after successfully locating the nearby CSC port in good time, 20.png Wanderer_06 hit the lead which he would never give up, completing the route in around 20 minutes. Chasing Wanderer all of the way but not able to bridge the gap, 20.png AwesomeTom21 was finished a further three minutes later. After successfully navigating the .PNG road to Ember Perch Station relatively cleanly, 20.png HatterSkye emerged from the pack to claim third. All participants managed to complete the course.
