The Patreon server is a Minecraft SMP server for Emerald and Diamond level Patreons. When ReNDoG had this server set up, his goal was to give these Patreons a "Hermitcraft-Like" experience to play in. The current server is the third iteration of the Patreon server. The server is a PaperMC server and is running 1.18.2 of Minecraft.

CURRENT SEED DETAILS:

  • Overworld: -7942169997234878735
  • Nether & The End: 6499653462175592455
  • The reason for the different seeds is when the server was initially set up, it was on 1.17. When the server upgraded to 1.18, the overworld was completely reset with a new seed.

SERVER RULES:

  • You must be 18+ to play on this Patreon server.
  • Be kind and considerate.
  • No destructive griefing of player bases/builds and surrounding areas. Do not remove or destroy blocks without permission (i.e. participation in a “Demise” style game).
  • No "cheaty" client-side mods. i.e. Mods that give you an advantage over others such as a X-Ray mod. Litematica usage is limited to redstone farms and transferring "personal" builds over to the Patreon server - no pure third party builds
  • No theft.
  • Item duplication is not allowed.
  • Redstone farms must have a shut off and overflow protection in place. Current active moderator on the server is beouwolfe. Please let a mod know of any concerns, issues, or suggestions you may have.
  • Any violation of the rules may result in kicking and/or banning based on the severity and circumstances of the break.

COMMON COURTESY:

  • Please be respectful of players who stream from the server and follow their rules.
  • Be considerate of others when mining in the overworld and nether. Netherite explosion mining should be done far away from Nether Spawn and player portals/base/farm areas
  • Please respawn the End Island’s obsidian towers when done mining them by spawning and killing a dragon. If you spawn a dragon, you must kill it.
  • The End Main Island is not mineable, please use the endstone community mine or the outer islands for this.
  • Please label your nether portals, shops, and games.
  • If you are taking over a shop, please keep the shop in the same theme/product of the original.
  • If you are away from the server for three consecutive months without notice*:
    • Your base farms may be turned off and excess entities may be removed.
    • Non-base farms (a guardian farm) may be turned off or turned into a community farm.
    • Any untouched claims (i.e. spawners/ocean temples) are revoked. -Any community shops/games may be dismantled or taken over by another player.
    • * Life happens and exceptions to this rule can certainly be made. Please notify us if you need to be away for an extended time and plan to return.

SERVER PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES:

  • When AFK, please make every effort to prevent unwanted entities from spawning unnecessarily. This means AFK in the air or making sure the surrounding area (including caves) are properly lit.
  • Farms, trading halls, and major redstone projects should not be placed in or around public/common areas or their portals. The distance from any public/common area is defined as: The chunks containing the public/common area should not be loaded by the same player when they are in their own build area.
  • If a farm is lag heavy, please consider not using it at heavy server traffic times.
  • Consider not having all of your farms in one area and/or space them out enough so that they are not all loaded at once.
  • If a game/community project is going to be significantly large, have a large number of entities, and/or require a significant amount of redstone considering setting up a wholly unique area for said game/project.

DATAPACKS:

  • These are all sourced from Vanilla Tweaks and can be found listed in the advancements tab in-game.
  • Armor statues: Customizable armor stands name a book and quill “Statues” This also adds the trigger for turning item frames invisible.  /trigger if_invisible to make item frames invisible.
  • Custom portals: Portals can be irregular and be made out of crying obsidian.
  • Nether portal cords: Easy math /trigger nc_ inNether or inOverworld (your current location).
  • HUD display: Adds xyz coordinates to your action bar /trigger_ch toggle to turn on and off.
  • Anti creeper/endermen/ghast grief: Turns off the griefing for creepers/endermen/ghasts, respectively.
  • Double shulkers shells: This increases the number of shells dropped by shulkers.
  • Dragon drop: Killing the dragon rewards an elytra.
  • More mob heads: All mobs have a chance at dropping a player head skinned to resemble the mob.
  • Silence mobs: Name a mob “silence me” to silence them.

PLUG-INS:

  • CoreProtect: This is an anti-griefing tool.
  • HeadDatabase: This allows access to player heads skinned to look like mini blocks and more! /heads to access menu. https://minecraft-heads.com/
  • LuckPerms: An admin tool used for permissions.
  • RandomTp: A tool that teleports you to a random location in the world. This is overworld-only. Type /rtp in chat to use.
  • Redye: The ability to redye blocks and undye most of them by throwing items into an empty cauldron.
  • RotationalWrench: A tool that rotates most blocks that can be rotated. The “wrench” will look like a carrot on a stick.  https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/rotation-wrench-survival-friendly-block-rotation.80166/
  • SpawnTeleport: This will teleport you back to the spawn point in the dimension you are currently in. Type /spawn in chat to use.
  • WorldEdit: An admin tool for making changes to the world.
  • WorldGuard: An admin tool for protecting areas of the world.

COMMUNITY FARM GUIDELINES:

  • Must have an on/off switch when possible.
  • If it is an AFK-style farm, the AFK spot must be reachable without elytra, safe from phantoms, and contain a bed. The spot should be 110 blocks above the lowest point of the farm. If you are unsure, use the MiniHUD mod or ask for help from someone who knows how to use it to create a despawn sphere so that an ideal AFK spot can be marked.
  • If the farm requires (or be optimized with) a certain tool/weapon, then the tool/weapon must be provided. Ideally, the tool/weapon would be named in a way that the user will be reminded to return it.
  • Keep possible server lag in mind when constructing the farm. If there is a question about lag, please review the design with the mod.
  • Overflow protection must be included in the storage area.
  • Make sure that loose entities are taken care of quickly and do not sit around for the full five minutes to despawn.
  • Make sure that instructions are simple, easy to find, and easy to read.
  • All returns from the farm are for the current user of the farm. This means that you cannot make nether-based zombified piglin farm and only allow the community access to the XP while keeping the gold for yourself.
  • It must be in a neutral location that is not part of your base. The exception to this is on the rare occasion when we decide to turn a retired player's personal farm into a community one.
  • If you have any question about if a farm would fit these guidelines or questions about the guidelines themselves, please contact a mod.
  • If you want to make a farm, DM a mod on discord with the following information:
    • What kind of farm it is.
    • Where you intend on making it.
    • The basics of the design. If you are building a farm from a tutorial/litematica schematic, please provide the schematic/link to video. The submission will be reviewed and you will be told about the next steps. If there is a question about resources, let a mod know and arrangement can be made.

SERVER NOTES:

  • Unofficial Creative Server: minecraft.ocsisor.net A 1.18.2 creative version of the server for Patreons to test build set up and maintained by Ocsisor. Contact Ocsisor in discord with your in-game name to be added to the whitelist.
  • Dogcraft Patreon End City Tracker: A tool designed by Rialgar to allow for a more efficient way of raiding The End. The data supporting this is based on Chunkbase's data. As such, the data may not be completely accurate to what spawned in the game. For example, a city might be marked as existing but did not spawn. Should a player opt not to use this, it is requested that players keep track of the cities raided and mark them accordingly, after the fact, to allow for a more accurate tool. If there are connection issues, contact Rialgar on Discord.

SERVER LOCATIONS:

  • If there’s a location you feel should be listed here, contact a moderator.
  • Welcome Center: (Overworld: 27/64/44) The welcome center is located at the overworld spawn. It contains Cyberdog Welcome Boxes, free resources/items/gear, and the Post Office. If there are resources/items/gear that you’d like to contribute, please do so. There is also a Community Farm bulletin board and a Player Base Location bulletin board. (Exterior by LewisVoidPup)
  • Community Center Island: (Overworld: -1095/63/121) A small mooshroom island that is the home of some community items. On the nether roof, follow the brown & white carpet path to the brick & andesite building.
    • Community Resources Barge: If you've done a community project and have remaining materials, drop them off here. If you need some resources, check here. It is located at the Community Center Island.
    • Community Smelter: There is a smelter array set up at the Community Center Island. It is for public use. If it does not seem to be working or you have any questions about it contact Rialgar.
    • Community Basalt Generator: This is in the brick & andesite building on the nether roof that also contains the portal to the Community Center.
  • The New Shopping District: (Overworld: -985/76/-417) A mooshroom island where most of the shopping occurs on the server. On the nether roof, follow the black & white carpet path to the large chest.
  • The Old Shopping District: (Nether: -18/88/-78) The shopping district from before the 1.18 overworld reset. There are still some active shops in the shopping district. There is also a relatively safe nether fortress available for players to kill some blazes and wither skeletons.
  • Gaming District: (Overworld: -775/70/387) A mooshroom island set aside for mini games. Currently home to How to kill an Estrild and Kaymingo’s Leaf Spleef. On the nether roof, follow the brown carpet path to the large die.
  • Two Town: (Overworld: -6391/169/2440) A community build area started by ReNDoG and the Patreons in a meet-up immediately following the 1.18 overworld reset. Building here is open to all Patreon members. On the Nether Roof, follow the orange carpet path leading south-west.
  • End Portal: (Overworld: -1803/-6/141, Nether Roof: -225/128/18) The primary portal to the end. From the nether hub, follow the west tunnel. On the nether roof, follow the cyan & black carpet path. (Set up by OPChckn)
  • End Stone Mining Island: (The End: 994/59/1) Take the gateway directly above the end spawn platform to get to this location. (Set up by OPChckn)
  • The Ender Ender: (The End: 237/1/0) A place to gain XP and get ender pearls. There is also an enchanting setup here. Turn around immediately when entering The End and follow the path forward. To use, take the Ender Farm Sword provided and go up the water elevator. Turn both switches on and end those endermen. When done, turn off both switches, go down, and return the sword. There are barrels there with plenty of ender pearls. (Set up by OPChckn)
  • The Wither Killing Chamber: (The End: 50/49/0) Under the portal on the end island. There is a tunnel leading to this location directly from the End Spawn. As wither rose farms are unstable on this server, this is also the most reliable way to get wither roses. The best way to do that is:
    • Have some seeds, a splash potion of Poison II, and a ton of eggs.
    • Set your soul sand in place on the bedrock and crying obsidian.
    • Throw all of the eggs.
    • Hold the seeds in your off hand.
    • Throw the poison potion at the chickens.
    • Summon the wither.
    • ???
    • Profit.
  • Nether Spawn: (Nether: -18/88/-7) This is the location of the primary portal to the overworld, the old welcome center, the old post office, the armor stand book generator, and Dr. Menard Tiddlebink, Ph.D. He is a villager that you can trade with to acquire bundles, creeper heads, and small dripleaf plants.
  • The Nether Hub: (Nether: 0/115/0) The primary location for traveling to locations while in the nether. (Set up by Rykjev)
  • The Nether Carpet Pipe: (Nether Roof: -52/129/-35) This pipe has free carpets for creating carpet paths on the nether roof. If there is low stock on an existing color, contact beouwolfe.
  • Mining Desert & Badlands #1: (Overworld: -3108/71/-3286, Nether Roof: -389/128/-412) On the roof, follow the yellow carpet path.
  • Mining Desert & Badlands #2: (Overworld: 7204/66/-6050, Nether Roof: 901/128/-760)
  • Mining Desert & Badlands #3: (Overworld: 6451/64/-2524, Nether Roof: 806/128/-316) The entrance on the nether roof is at beouwolfe’s Gold & Wool Farms.
