Electric Grove Station is the second station on the Akita South Line on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server. The station was designed and built by NeoFiore, after the location was offered up for building by Akita South Line Manager Montenator, on the SRN/NTN Discord Server. The station opened in a joint opening with Moor Station on the 10th of August 2022. Electric Grove is also planned to serve as a station on the Akita Ring Line, which will run around the greater spawn area of Akita, intersecting the four cardinal lines at their second stations.

About

Initially Moor Station was the intended design for the second station of the Akita South Line. However, after scouting out the terrain, Montenator noticed the south of Akita consisted largely of a giant ocean, with the nearest land suitable for Moor Station to be built on well over 2000 blocks away from South Station. It was decided that instead of having one longer than average line between South Station and Moor Station, an intermediate station would be built, creating two shorter than average lines. Due to the lack of land in the ocean, the station was built on a small group of islets, just off the coast of Kronolak's base. The station side was put of for taking on the SRN Discord, with NeoFiore volunteering to build the station.

The station takes the form of a mangrove, with various shacks and buildings nestled within the canopy. This style was inspired from the treehouse in the 1960 film, 'The Swiss Family Robinson'. The station is also intending on serving as the center of NeoFiore's new redstone college, hence the giant redstone core at the center of the station. The station has all the standard station features, with crafting tables, ender chests, network maps and a map of the surrounding area. Beds can be found by taking a small walkway to a shack at the top of the mangrove, while NTN connections are located on the islet beneath the station, nestled into the trunk of the trees. Next to the nether portal is a small boat dock which can hopefully be connected up to the wider CSC network in the future.

The station contains two main line connections, one northbound towards South Station, while the other leads soutbound towards Moor Station. In addition to this, two other terminals provide connections to the future Akita Ring Line, with Electric Grove Station being to converging point between the Akita Ring Line and the Akita South Line. The station also has a small minor line terminal upon request of Kronolak which plans to connect up his nearby base with the station.
