'''Spawn Port''' is the main port on Sheltie and the starting hub for the Connected Seas Coalition network on Sheltie. It serves the initial pre-built spawn area as well as the player built Spawn Town. The port was designed shortly after [[Spawn Port (Retriever)|Retriever Spawn Port]] however due to other obligations from its designers, progress on the port was slow, with it ultimately opening 6 months after the one on Retriever on the 8th of June 2024.

== About The Port ==
The Port was loosely based on [[wikipedia:Pagaruyung_Palace|Pagaruyung Palace]] on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. The main structure was primarily designed by {{Player|Montenator}}, with {{Player|N1cM4tth3w63}} assisting with the roof design. The interior was primarily designed by {{Player|ItsDaCreeper}} with the rear boat dock being built by {{Player|XPModder}}. {{Player|Xambaka}} {{Player|H_Di_Chemici}} were responsible for copying the bulk of the exterior from creative into survival.

The port itself is located right outside the pre-built spawn area, oppposite the main tower of [[Grand Central Station (Sheltie)|Grand Central Station]]. Access to the RHN can also be found nearby via [[Spawn Shelter (Sheltie)|Spawn Shelter]]. Other nearby builds include the public stage built by {{Player|Kurstles}} and the Starter Supply Depot built by ''H_Di_Chemici'' and ''Xambaka''.

Entering the port you find a main hallway which leads directly out to the boat docks at the back of the build. The room to the right contains barrels with lodestone compasses, as well as a map of the area, utilities and a credit wall to the builders. The room on the left contains a small cafe area, with an aquarium underneath a staircase that takes player to the top floor where beds and information books are found.

== Opening Event ==
The Port opened to players on the 8th of June 2024, in an event organised by ''Montenator''. Players intially gathered outside the station and the ribbon was cut to let them in. After a while exploring the port, players got in boats and embarked to explore some other new ports as well as revisiting others. Points of interest explored during the tour include [[Canal Station]], [[Brickshire]], [[Canine Kingdom]], [[Cape Di Chemici|Cape Di]] [[Cape Di Chemici|Chemici]] and [[Operation Point]].
