	Long after the company's founding, in 1962, the corporate floor of the Giovanni Finances Head Quarters began to grow tired of their massive workload, and spent millions on an advanced algorithm, that would assign tasks to the Human Resources floor below, via pneumatic tubing, so they didn't need to. A few months after the creation of the machine, a newly hired corporate employee discovered some corruption and unethical business practices happening in the higher-ups offices. During his mission to learn more and put an end to the corrupt nature of Giovanni Finances, something horrible happened, to him and all his colleagues. It is still unknown to this day what happened to the corporate floor of the Giovanni Finances HQ Building, but what is known, is that due to the still-running algorithm, no one was aware of the disaster, until 20+ years later. As the times advanced, the machine grew more and more outdated, and began sending out more and more tasks. most of which, didn't make much sense. By 1989 the Human Resources department became tired of their increasing workload, and an employee by the name of John decided it was time to modernize Giovanni Finances. He began work on a machine that would create timesheets, wire pay, and disperse tasks among the interns all automatically. Once the machine was created however, the employees of the HR floor realized how strange it was that they still received all their tasks via pneumatic tubing, so John decided to visit corporate, despite their adamance that no one venture upstairs, to help upgrade their machinery, and discovered the aftermath. Unfortunately for John, the top floor had been overtaken by a harmful ecosystem, and poisonous spores filled the air. He never made it out. The other employees, confused by John's sudden absence, walked upstairs to ask corporate his whereabouts, this was when panic set in. The HR floor began frantically packing, and trying to contact the authorities, when the poison finally reached them. No one left the building. They have stated plans to improve upon and refurbish the HQ, however no progress seems to have been made.
