Since another Minecraft update (1.17) had dropped since the last building phase, using amethyst blocks hidden under moss carpets, half slabs and snow seemed to be a wonderful way to add some extra wintery cling clang atmosphere to the whole area, so all the original pathways were replaced.

After a little research a medieval building style by SkyOWings was settled on and the winter village got started in one of the two remaining quadrants and some landscaping for extra depth took place.
