This is a guide on how to use the Mall and associated plugins on the Dogcraft Server since it updated to Minecraft version 1.21.4.
When the server updated to version 1.21.4 the Mall was updated to a new plugin, this means all shops created before the update no longer function.<br>
Player Shops on the Dogcraft Server are a way of buying and selling goods in exchange for Dogcraft Dollars (DCD). Player Shops take the form of container (chests/barrels/etc) placed in a rented Mall Plot. This guide will walk through the process of renting a Mall Plot, setting up a Shop using the Shop plugin, and how to purchase from Player Shops. <br>
The shop plugin is only available on the Mall world and cannot be used on any of the other worlds.<br>
All commands relevant to the Mall can be found on the List of Commands page under the heading Mall Commands.
# Do not cause lag in the mall
How To Rent A Plot:
# Find an empty Mall Plot. You can identify which plots are available for rent via the sign located in the right-hand corner of the plot. Green text means the plot is available, red text means it has already been rented to another Player.
# Right click the sign to rent the plot. Renting costs 200 DCD per 5 days, the rent must be paid manually via the sign. You can rent at plot for a maximum of 60 days at a time, the amount of time you have left on your plot will be displayed on the plot sign.
# By renting a plot Players understand that they are responsible for maintaining the rental time on said plot.
# IMPORTANT NOTE- If the time left on your plot reaches 0 then your plot will reset. All items, Player Shops, and builds in said plot will be deleted. There is no way to recover these items once the plot has been reset.
This guide will walk through the process of renting a Mall Plot and how to set up a Shop using the Shop plugin on the server. <br>
The shop plugin is only available on the Mall world and cannot be used on any of the other worlds.<br>
Design and Terminology
The cards are blue banners with special names and the patterns on the banner showcases the cards effects and attributes.

The border of the card shows the rarity and if it is a permanent or normal card. A light gray border signifies a common card, a lime border signifies a uncommon card and a light blue border signifies a rare card. If the border is indented (wavy), the card is permanent. Permanent cards are played immediately at the beginning of the run while all other cards are played slowly over time during the run at regular intervals.

If the background of the card features a light blue gradient, the card is ethereal, meaning that the card is used up when played. When a ethereal card is played during your run, you will not get that card back in your deck at the end of the run. If you have an ethereal card in your deck, but the card is not actually played during your run (eg because your run ended before it was played) the card will be returned to your deck with all your other cards.

The other patterns on the card showcase the effects of the card. For a detailed description of the effects, see the Systems page.

During a dungeon run the custom game-currency of Chips and Credits is available as loot in the dungeon.<br>
This currency is NOT comparable or related to the server currency DCD and is used only in connection with DoggedOut!<br>
Chips are a lower denomination then Credits and cannot be used directly. Instead Chips have to be exchanged for Credits in the Currency Exchange.<br>
Credits are the higher denomination and can be used in the games Shop to buy items that may help you in future runs.

Currency Exchange
The Currency Exchange is located at the front of the Embarkation Area on the east wall and can be used to exchange Chips for Credits.<br>
The Currency Exchange only accepts Chips, so please do not put anything else in the barrel.<br>
The current exchange rate is displayed on a sign in the Currency Exchange.<br>
Simply input the Chips to be exchanged into the barrel at the bottom and the Credits will drop from the ceiling.<br>
The Currency Exchange may take a few seconds to count your Chips and deliver the correct amount of Credits, so please be patient if you are not immediately seeing items drop.

Please note: The Currency Exchange can only exchange complete sets and cannot give refunds or return excess Chips!<br>
Example: If the exchange rate is 4:1 and you input 3 Chips, you will not receive anything and will also not get your Chips back! If you input 12 Chips you will receive 3 Credits correctly.

DoggedOut Shop
The Shop is located next to the Embarkation Area and attaches to the west side of the entrance hallway.<br>
The Shop is where you can exchange the game currency Credits for items for the use in your future dungeon runs.<br>
Please note that this shop is not in the mall and does not accept DCD.

Each shop is labelled with the item for sale as well as the cost of that item.<br>
All items are sold as individual items. The prices therefore always refer to a single item.<br>
All prices are in Credits and Credits are the only accepted currency.<br>
To use Chips please exchange them for Credits in the Currency Exchange (see section above).<br>

To buy an item, simply put the required amount of Credits into the input barrel and the bought item(s) will drop from the ceiling shortly afterwards.<br>
Please be patient if the shop takes a second or two to count your money before dispensing items.

Please note: The Shops can only exchange complete sets and cannot give refunds or return excess Credits!<br>
Example: If the item price is 4 and you input 3 Credits, you will not receive anything and will also not get your Credits back! If you input 12 Credits you will receive 3 items correctly.

{{{}ROOTPAGENAME}} is a build in viBEEng's Base on the Survival 6 world of the Dogcraft Server.

About
The GigaCorp Secret Lab is a semi-secret build that exists under viBEEng's Base, accessible via a secret entrance in the basement.

The original purpose of the build was simply to hold a prototype redstone machine that was intended to function as a scoring system for Cyberball. This machine has since become defunct and the lab itself has grown into an extensive project with complicated lore and a sprawling footprint.

Lore
{{Panel|title=Lab Notes 1|content=Some axolotls have been acquired for the lab.
It is hoped that they will raise employee spirits, while also being useful for a number of non-invasive observational experiments- The first of which has already been conducted!

Experiment #38 - Axolotl Names

Question: Axolotls are happy, friendly, and unbothered creatures. If one were to give them a name associated with evil, would it impact their behaviour?

Hypothesis: Unlikely. I am unsure if axolotls are sentient enough to understand their name in the first place. Even if they are, they do not know human history and media and therefore would not know any biases associated with the name regardless.

Notes:
The Junior Researcher who initially proposed this says “there is power in names.”
Despite it being their idea they are still concerned for the chosen axolotl’s wellbeing. I assured them the name will not be too evil.

Experiment:
The lab contains 6 axolotls, they have been chosen at random with 5 “cute” named offered by employees and 1 “evil” name chosen by myself. (As Head Researcher it is my duty to undertake the hardship of difficult tasks like these)

The names are as follows:

Cyan axolotl: baby

Brown axolotl: cookie

Pink axolotl 2: skeletor (this is the evil one)

The axolotls remain unbothered by their names and continue to swim in their tank and snack on fish without a care in the world.

This, I assure you, is nonsense. My excitement stems from the research opportunities presented by a lab such as this. One of our researchers has already begun developing a mixture to clear silverfish infestations.
{{Panel|title=Experiment Update|content=Update on Experiment #38 “Axolotl Names”

An incident in the axolotl tank has caused some of the Junior Researchers to believe we were too hasty in coming to the conclusion that we reached in this experiment. I disagree, but will nonetheless present the incident and concerns:

Incident:
The lab was business as usual, peak work hours so the axolotl tank was unmanned. Suddenly one of the axolotls (we later found it to have been Pink Axolotl #1 “Stinky”)
Started making sounds of distress in the back of the tank. I had just returned from a meeting and was in the upper stairwell when the incident occurred. Several of us rushed to the tank but were unfortunately too late to intervene. “Stinky” passed away within seconds of us reaching the tank.
The other axolotls in the tank were largely unbothered and behaving as usual.

Response:
In light of the incident, I personally removed the remaining axolotls from the tank temporarily while it underwent an investigation.
Based on the investigation and previous observation of axolotl behaviours in the tank, a risk factor was identified.

Coral has been installed within the tank to provide enrichment and hiding places for the axolotls. This on its own is not an issue, however, a layer of air was also provided above the water level. This was also for enrichment purposes, as the axolotls have a tendency to perform breaching actions and jumps when playing.
One of the coral colonies was tall enough to meet this air layer and have one face exposed to air.

Conclusions/Solutions:
I suspect what occurred at the time of the incident is that “Stinky” performed a breach action that resulted in them landing atop of the exposed coral face. “Stinky” then became stuck and was unable to return to the water in time before they dried out, and passed away as a result.

As a solution I have placed a glass block above the exposed face that prevents any of the axolotls from accessing it.
Axolotls have subsequently been returned to the tank under observation, and no further incidents have occurred.

Staff Concerns:
Several of our Junior Researchers appear to have developed a different conclusion to mine (though refused to inform me). As far as I can glean, the theory being shared amongst the lab staff (most of whom were not present for the underlying incident), is that the death of “Stinky” was actually the result of an attack. They are convinced that this occurrence reflects a different result to our initial “names experiment” and that “Skeletor” has resorted to violence and killed “Stinky”.

I find this claim to be nothing more than a highly dubious conspiracy theory with no grounding in reality nor proof. But they seem insistent that “Skeletor” is now dangerous.
In response, I have scheduled all Junior Researchers who parrot this claim onto overnight shifts to record observations of the axolotls. I suspect this will result in the conspiracy soon being “debunked” via their recordings of normal axolotl behaviours.}}
They’ve asked us if we would be willing to do some research into squirtapods and the sulfur they produce. I have been dying to get my hands on a squirtapod sample for a long time so this is perfect!

{{Panel|title=Experiment Log|content=Experiment #43 - Fish Behaviour
Question:
Fish in tanks, both at the lab and outside it, have been observed showing a pattern of behaviour involving rising and falling the entire height of the tank. Should a hazard be introduced, would they continue such behaviours?

Hypothesis:
Fish do not have much brain power in the “logic and reasoning” department, therefore it would be likely they would continue these actions. However, they do have survival and observational responses so may adapt over time as they and tankmates are injured.

Experiment:
In a fish tank previously used for experiment [REDACTED] we have installed a row of dripstone spikes along the floor. A total of five tropical fish were then introduced to the tank.

Observations:
Interestingly, the fish behaved as expected to begin with, simply following the repeated up and down motions. But they were never struck by the spikes.
As time continued on, the fish chose to no longer continue these motions and have instead settled at the base of the tank amongst the spikes. None of the fish were harmed at all and avoided the spikes with skill.

It is unclear if the fish have settled at the bottom because they enjoy the atmosphere or if they are depressed. Further observations will be done, and if found depressed, the fish will be rehomed.

Notes:
Junior Researchers were offered the opportunity to name the fish, and chose to continue the theme of media villains they started upon naming the lab pufferfish. The names of the tropical fish are as follows:

Gargamel

Maleficent

Ursula

Jerma

Bluto

Gargamel

Maleficent

Ursula

Jerma

Bluto
}}

{{{}ROOTPAGENAME}} was an event on the Dogcraft Server that took place on [edit this!]

The Event
The Pride Gardens event was an UNOFFICIAL Dogcraft event that opened on the 28th of June at 10am NZT to celebrate International Pride day, as well as Pride in general.
Built over the month of June by several players, the event area consisted of a garden built up around a lake in a flower forest biome, surrounded by a large glass rainbow wall. Large mushrooms coloured to represent pride flags were connected by winding paths, with small dioramas featuring assorted players celebrating Pride and enjoying the area. Above the main area, a series of pride themed minecraft bees watched over everything.

One could access the event via either the phome /PrideGardens or via the Retriever NTN at 5500 in the East tunnel.
Taking the NTN would bring players to Pride Station alongside the event area, crossing the rainbow bridge would then bring you into the main event space, joining up near the phome and area map.

Event Ethos
As Dogcraft does not celebrate Pride in any official capacity, this event was intended to give LGBTQIA+ players and friends a space in which they could both celebrate and be celebrated. The infoboard located at the event phome lays out the motivation behind the building of the event space and explains why Pride is important. It reads as follows:

Welcome to Pride Gardens!
A place to celebrate and take pride in your identity. A place to remind you that you're never alone.
Why does Pride Matter?
To celebrate Pride, is to create a space where people can feel safe to be themselves. To show people that no matter what, you are not alone. There are many others who are similar to you. You are valid and worthy of love. You are always welcome.
LGBTQIA+/Queer people still face discrimination and fear every day all over the world. And for some, the only place they can truly be themself is online, in communities like Dogcraft. For many, Pride is a time to celebrate their friendships and chosen families. The people who shaped them into the happiest version of themself.
Pride is about remembering the fight it took to get to today, and the fight it will take to get to tomorrow. Remembering the people who fought for us and those who fight for us still, to allow us the right of existence.
In this garden we are celebrating you.
Hello, I am ViBEEng!

About me
Known most often as Bee, I am an artist and gamer from New Zealand. When I'm not playing Minecraft you'll find me playing mostly fantasy games, Wizard101, Skyrim, Deep Rock Galactic, just to name a few. I'm a big fan of animals, especially cats, and all things pink, cute, and fluffy. IRL I have a chronic pain condition that restricts me from doing much, but I find Minecraft to be a great distraction giving me plenty to do so that I never really get bored.

Fun fact! Pronounced like "vibing" my username has a very simple origin: vibing+bee= viBEEng (Congrats to those who have figured that out on their own, surprisingly few do!)

I joined the Cyberdog discord server around the start of June 2024, the Minecraft server at the end of that month, and then the Patreon about a month after that.

On Dogcraft
My first death on the server came after I joined Retriever for the first time. I was busy admiring the scenery of the spawn area and stepped backwards off a ledge... so all things considered I'd call it a great start!

Fun Facts:
* I decorate my shop in the mall for the holidays! For Christmas I turned it into a gingerbread house.
* I was the first player on the server to breed a rare blue axolotl!
* For one day (10/11/2024) I held the record for highest spender on the server at 429,202 dcd. jmsvvr then promptly took back the top spot and has maintained it since.

Projects I have worked on:
* My base (name TBD)
* Cyberball and the GigaCorp district in Canine Kingdom including Port GigaCorp™
* GigaCorp Labs
* Beetroot Army HQ
* Numerous Maparts
* Easter 2025
* Dogcraft 10 year anniversary
* Retriever Spawn town
* Pride Gardens

Competitions I have been a part of:
* 2024 Connected Seas Competition -Judge
* 2024 Tattington Build Competition - Placed 3rd!
* 2024 Snowman Building Competition

The Mall is a district built by the DCT that provides players with an area dedicated to the selling and purchasing of items. They have been created in every Survival world on the Dogcraft.net server, including Survival 6. The Survival 6 Mall utilizes the Shop plugin to facilitate a marketplace for Minecraft items. The plugin allows for transactions using either Dogcraft Dollars, the server currency, or item bartering. More information on how to set up shops can be found here. Commands used within the mall can be found here.

History
Like Survival 5, the Survival 6 Mall is on its very own world which is accessible via the command <code>/mall</code>. Over 100 17x17 plots are available for players to rent at the cost of 200 dcd per 5 days. The mall has been built to resemble a giant version of the boardgame Monopoly, with the shop plots split across 8 different coloured districts. The districts are separated by structures similar to those found on a traditional Monopoly board, including a parking garage for free parking and a jail. The spaces which would be occupied by train stations in Monopoly have instead been replaced with builds representing the server transport networks with the NTN, SRN, CSC, and RHN all represented. Several more details around the board include dice, a chest, stacks of chance cards, and a large stack of Rencoins in the middle, all scaled up to match the giant board.

On 1/03/2025 the server was updated to version 1.21.4 of Minecraft, and alongside this the opportunity was taken to change which plugin was used to manage shops in the mall. While the previous plugin had allowed players to assign a price per number of items (eg: 40dcd for 32 copper blocks), the new plugin requires shop owners to set a price per individual item (eg: 1dcd per copper block). This allows players more flexibility when it comes to purchasing as they can choose the amount of items they wish to purchase instead of only being offered a set amount. Due to the change all shops had to be updated to the new system before players could continue to purchase from them. Alongside this, the new mall plugin also came with a new set of commands which resulted in many players sending numbers in the global chat as they purchased items.

Shops
DCT Server Shops
Several shops in the mall have been built by the DCT and provide players with the opportunity to purchase unique items not typically available in vanilla minecraft.

The miniblock shop-
This shop sells over 200 unique miniblocks. Floors have been categorised into specific themes to help make it easier for players to find specific blocks within the shop (eg: food/animals/etc).

The armorstand shop-
This shop sells armor stands available in a variety of poses allowing players to create scenes with more detail and is responsible for many of the dioramas that can be spotted around the server.

Popup event miniblock shops-
Sometimes during a holiday or event time on the server a popup shop will appear with a variety of unique miniblocks themed to the occassion. These miniblocks are only available for a limited amount of time and often include many of the miniblocks used by the creative team in the themed event areas. Events that have been accompanied by a mall popup shop include: Christmas 2024, and Valentines 2025

The community chest-
This shop does not offer any unique items but instead offers a location for players to sell things without having to rent an entire plot. Players can sell up to 2 items here and are responsible for maintaining their stock as they would if they rented a plot.

Other Notable Shops
* Y21 -Y21 makes a return on sur 6 with twin shops in the mall. One sells general building supplies and items, managed by jmsvvr. Nextdoor a smaller building contains redstone supplies and is managed by jvkermit and kfr4014
* CXI - Managed by xambaka and CactusBrother this shop is a staple for many players, selling building supplies, redstone supplies, and other useful items at a much lower rate than competitor Y21. CXI also features maps by elasmotherium1 and items from H_Di_Chemici
*The tallest shop in the mall belongs to princess223 where each floor contains a different colour of item

* My base (name TBD)
* Cyberball and the GigaCorp district in Canine Kingdom including Port GigaCorp™
* GigaCorp Labs
* Beetroot Army HQ
* Numerous Maparts

Competitions I have been a part of:
* 2024 Connected Seas Competition -Judge
* 2024 Tattington Build Competition - Placed 3rd!
* 2024 Snowman Building Competition

{{{}ROOTPAGENAME}} is the base of viBEEng on the Survival 6 world of the Dogcraft Server.

About
This base is very pink. It sprawls across a mountain which has been slowly terraformed, with grass becoming moss, and stone swapped out for dripstone. Over 30 thousand pink petals cover the main section of the mountaintop. The builds in the main section consist of viBEEng's house, the apiary, and the hutch for the hermitbuns. Several paths lead from the main section, one going to a nearby barn and wheat field. Another path leads further to another peak where a tower for brewing and enchanting is located.

Below the house, accessed via a series of stairways, corridors, and secret doors, is the main hub of the extensive GigaCorp Labs project which viBEEng has been developing over their time on the server. Originally built as a location to house a redstone contraption until it could be installed in Cyberball, the "secret" lab is filled with lore and experiments that expand on the GigaCorp lore established by Renthedog in season 10 of Hermitcraft.
