I wanted to take a shot at doing a small adventure map type thing this time around. I've always liked making short stories in my survival bases. If you download the base from the wiki you'll discover a short story waiting for you! There should be a resource pack included with the download, adds some little bits of music to set the scene at a few parts of the story. The resource pack is not mandatory, the story will work perfectly well without it. It's really short, so don't expect a new cult classic. It's mainly there to give you a reason to go exploring!

Elfium is a part of a group of players / friends who all built in the same area. The area would be known as [[Westmarch]].

The group setup shop at the start of Survival 5, and whilst some drifted away to go play other games, they all still remain close friends. All the builds were individual with no set theme, it's just nicer to have neighbours when you're missing a bit of sugarcane!

Corgi became the groups main server as14 friends built bases within walking distance of each other.

Nonaco was established as a place for {{Player|Nonium}} to thaw out after many months working in the icy and snowy biomes where [[Nova]], the player's other base is set up. The location was chosen for the prime reason of it being a mushroom island within 200,000 thousand blocks of spawn that was not already claimed by someone else and of a manageable size. The only drawback being the incredible amount of ice that had formed around the island, making it both unique and tricky to work with.

In order to prevent ice from forming around the bay and shores of the island a large amount of glass panes were placed at Y=256, practically invisible from the floor, but enough to stop the waters from freezing over by blocking direct sunlight, Minecraft for you huh!

The real life counterpart to Nonaco, even down to the name, is that of the small European country of Monaco. Alot of inspiration, styles and buildings were created after touring the country both in real life and on Google maps!

Nonaco grew into a small town featuring a number of unique buildings, of note including:

*Hermitage de Nonaco

The entire Northern edge of the island was transformed into 2 separate harbours, serving as the perfect place for the DCD millionaires to dock their pleasure craft.
The western side of the island also saw the establishment of a helipad terminal operated by, Nonaco Int Air, where all arriving guests from the phome would land.

The Nonaco Casino contained 2 separate galleries, one boasting a number of rare player heads and the other containing the works of many of Beagles greatest artists, including an original 1889 Vincent Van Gogh, A Wheatfield with Cypresses.

The island nation of Nonaco once played host to the Nonaco Grand Prix, however due to a inundated government, races were often decades apart. However, the motorsport culture of the island was still strong and the local motorsport museum holds a number of classic speed machines. ==History==
Established on the launch day of [[Beagle]], under the rough project guide of "Ice Oriental Fantasy", Nova was to be a large base built entirely within and around an Ice Spikes biome. Notably whilst no single building was planned prior to the citing of the land where Nova would sit, a palette was devised which helped to highlight the builds against the natural tones of the biome itself. One of undoubtedly Nova's most prominent features is the large central basin.

The basin was dug out then partially flooded, with the top layer of water replaced with ice to give an almost natural caldera feeling. However, the basin was dug into an ocean and thus due to the large amount of material that was removed meant that the ocean was now higher than the basin floor itself. Thus a solution was devised, the creation of an artificial icy wave.

The wave was created as a barrier between the ocean and the basin floor, and to this day serves a very useful purpose as being one of the few spannable spots in the basin thus constantly filling it with hostile mobs.

The coming weeks saw the construction of a Sushi Bar and Sugar Cane Tower around the basin and behind the glacial wall saw the addition of a small canteen and Sushi Bar, complete with Iron Golem security.

Future development would see the addition of a harbour, hot springs, Shinto styled temple, 30m high Oni statue as well as a large building meant to resemble that of the bathhouse from Hayao Miyazaki's 2001 film, Spirited Away. With the interiors of each building being decorated, and many more small details discoverable whilst exploring the base.

In fact one of the houses within the base is a near copy of the lead playable characters in game home

==History==
Established on the launch day of [[Beagle]], under the rough project guide of "Ice Oriental Fantasy", Nova was to be a large base built entirely within and around an Ice Spikes biome. Notably whilst no single building was planned prior to the citing of the land where Nova would sit, a palette was devised which helped to highlight the builds against the natural tones of the biome itself. One of undoubtedly Nova's most prominent features is the large central basin.

The basin was dug out then partially flooded, with the top layer of water replaced with ice to give an almost natural caldera feeling. However, the basin was dug into an ocean and thus due to the large amount of material that was removed meant that the ocean was now higher than the basin floor itself. Thus a solution was devised, the creation of an artificial icy wave.

The wave was created as a barrier between the ocean and the basin floor, and to this day serves a very useful purpose as being one of the few spannable spots in the basin thus constantly filling it with hostile mobs.

The coming weeks saw the construction of a Sushi Bar and Sugar Cane Tower around the basin and behind the glacial wall saw the addition of a small canteen and Sushi Bar, complete with Iron Golem security.

Future development would see the addition of a harbour, hot springs, Shinto styled temple, 30m high Oni statue as well as a large building meant to resemble that of the bathhouse from Hayao Miyazaki's 2001 film, Spirited Away. With the interiors of each building being decorated, and many more small details discoverable whilst exploring the base.

==History==
Nonaco was established as a place for {{Player|Nonium}} to thaw out after many months working in the icy and snowy biomes where [[Nova]], the players other base is setup. The location was chosen for the prime reason of it being a mushroom island within 200,000 thousands blocks of spawn that was not already claimed by someone else and of a manageable size. The only drawback being the incredible amount of ice that had formed around the island, making it both unique and tricky to work with.

In order to prevent ice from forming around the bay and shores of the island a large amount of glass panes were placed at Y=256, practically invisible from the floor, but enough to stop the waters from freezing over by blocking direct sunlight, Minecraft for you huh!

The real life counterpart to Nonaco, even down to the name, is that of the small European country of Monaco. Alot of inspiration, styles and buildings were created after touring the country both in real life and on Google maps!

==Key Buildings==

Nonaco grew into a small town featuring a number of unique buildings, of note including:

*Nonaco Casino
*Church de Nonaco
*Nonaco Motorsport Museum
*Hermitage de Nonaco
*Bayside Cafe
*Fort de Nonico

The entire Northern edge of the island was transformed into 2 separate harbours, serving as the perfect place for the DCD millionaires to dock their pleasure craft.
The western side of the island also saw the establishment of a helipad terminal operated by, Nonico Int Air, where all arriving guests from the phome will land.

The Nonaco Casino contains 2 separate galleries one boasting a number of rare player heads and the other containing the works of many of Beagles greatest artists, including an original 1889 Vincent Van Gogh, A Wheatfield with Cypresses.

==Nonaco Motorsport Museum==

The island nation of Nonaco once played host to the Nonaco Grand Prix, however due to a inundated government, races are often decades apart. However the motorsport culture of the island is still strong and the local motorsport museum holds of a number of classic speed machines. Cars from teams such as McLaren, Mercedes and Williams have all graced the collection.
