}}Hello, I am ROOTPAGENAME!

About me
I joined DogCraft after becoming a fan of Hermitcraft during Season IV. (I actually binge-watched Season IV from Mumbo's perspective, but always enjoyed the interactions with Ren.) I began watching Ren more after the transition to Season V and really enjoyed his creative style and humor. In several of his episodes, Ren would talk about his fan server and it piqued my interest enough for me to join. Before this, I had never played on a multiplayer server before, but this community was very welcoming and helpful and a great place to get my feet wet. I started playing on Survival 2 for about a year before the reset to Survival 3. During this time, I met a lot of amazing players and based next to two others who have remained friends; misterblue28 and googly2002. Together, we formed GEM and shared a base together on Survival 3.

When Survival 4 was released, I made a decision to be less of a hermit and become more involved in a community. With that in mind, I joined the City of Gaia and became a Senator for the city. This city served as my base of operations for the duration of Survival 4. The Northwestern island within the city proper was my own builds including my bedroom, a pub with attached stage, and a showcase building that housed my prized possessions as well as my gear at the end of the server. Most of my time within Gaia was spent terraforming the mountains and surroundings. I'm especially proud of the western mountain including the SRN tunnel. Within this cavern was a secret passage into a personal cavern that stretched to Bedrock.

Moving forward to Survival 5, I continued with the same group of players with Caelon. I also claimed an island in the vicinity to create my own personal base this season. Unfortunately, real life became overwhelmingly busy between kid's school, sports, church, and family and my time on the server became very limited.

On a little more personal level, I reside in Missouri in the United States. I'll be 38 in May of 2020, so I'm old enough to have been gaming since the original NES days. I actually had an old Pong console before the NES, but that was already a relic when I got it. I love RPGs and Action/Adventure games. Favorites are the Final Fantasy series, Legend of Zelda, Uncharted, Fallout, Ratchet & Clank, and of course Minecraft. There's so many others I enjoy as well, but these are the standouts that come to mind.

I have a major Creative Minecraft project to recreate the entire world from Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in Minecraft. After completing the overworld, I hit a period of burnout and haven't touched it in several years. It's definitely still a goal to complete, but I don't have a timeline anymore. If you want to see my progress, I have a playlist of videos for you.

Stuff I have done on the server
*Survival 2 - Helped dig out parts of the East NTN.
*Survival 2 - Helped with track building on the SRN.
*Survival 2 - Started construction of Eastern Interchange SRN station just before the reset to connect GEM to the SRN.
*Survival 3 - Completed most of the west border line from West to Southwest station.
*Survival 4 - Became a Senator for the City of Gaia.
*Survival 5 - Continued as Senator for Caelon.

ROOTPAGENAME is planned to be a large build on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server.

About
Caelon shall be a city loosely inspired by architecture of Early Byzantine, to try push a style which is not prevalent within the community. This will combine with oriental architecture for a region of the city, playing with the interaction of these cultures. The aim will be, as before, to create a hub for the community within an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive build, this time with an emphasis on verticality, making use of 1.18's extended world height.

Hence, the general layout of Caelon will be an island, with the use of white cliffs, and black-sand beaches, connected to the mainland via a long bridge; the island itself will stretch skywards, allowing for buildings to be placed at various heights. This will be terraformed from scratch, allowing for great control over the terrain.

Name Etymology
The name Caelon is based off the Roman god Caelus, the god of the sky.

The City of Gaia, or simply Gaia, was a Mediterranean-style city on the Survival 4 Husky world of the Dogcraft Server. Inspired by Venice, Gaia featured twisting canals cutting through a densely packed urban landscape. The city was founded on the launch day of the Survival 4 world; the 1st April 2020, by a council of people comprised of leaders of Survival 3 city projects such as Ouranos, Chronia, and Erebus. Development within Gaia continued through the final days of Survival 4 in preparation for the World Download.

General Layout
The main part of the city was a Venetian-style complex with canals running throughout the city creating another way for players to travel throughout. This area was positioned at the southern bay such that the south end of the city bordered the sea. At this border, there was also a commercial harbor connecting the city to the outer world. Surrounding the eastern and western fronts of the city were large granite mountains, terraformed by the Council and Senate members. An airport could be found on the northern side of the city.

Plots
Instead of plots with a specific layout, the Council granted people more flexibility with their building areas. Because of this, people were given larger plots of land to develop within allowing them to be more creative with the shape of their structures. The intent was to create a more interesting and developed area. The leadership encouraged builders to stretch themselves and to try more complicated techniques such as diagonals. Since the style of Gaia was rather specific, and to maintain a level of quality, all potential citizens (called Applicant Citizens) were required to build a small sample of their build in creative prior to building it in Survival within Gaia.

Build Style and Theme
The style of buildings within Gaia was, as previously mentioned, Mediterranean. The general era was Renaissance, and thus was mostly based on terracotta, stone, sandstone, brick, etc. with less emphasis on wood as would be seen in medieval builds. Numerous reference images and ideas could be found within the #inspiration-images channel on the Gaia Discord.

The Council and Senate members built several example buildings on Isola Delle Nocci to help show the desired style and kick-start the building process of Applicant Citizens.

Name Etymology
Gaia is the name of the Greek primordial goddess of the earth (being the daughter of Chaos). Naming of the city Gaia followed in the Dogcraftian tradition. The symbolism in our logo was twofold: the sun represented the Mediterranean climate, and the laurel wreath linked to both the heritage of this part of the world (being a symbol used by both Romans and Greeks in antiquity), and also being a symbol of plants coming from "Mother Earth". The Blue and Orange represented the granite mountains reaching up into the blue sky.

Management
The leadership of Gaia manifested as the Council and the Senate. The City Council Members were the main leadership of the project being responsible for Executive Duties and the overall direction of Gaia. Below them were the Senate Members who were responsible for helping manage and plan the city, as well as terraforming and building the infrastructure.

The Council Members are: DragonFire441, Cookies58_, and RY44 from Chronia, misterblue28 from Ouranos, dmgdog from Erebus, and marbou9, the first citizen of Havana.

The Senators are: https://minotar.net/helm/almightyanna/19.png <i>almightyanna</i> , Arkhangellsk, blueartistic813_, Domino, ebi_furya, googly2002, Iotados, Skelleton123, Txp_ and William.

Former Council Members:
William278 from Ouranos and nossi_ from Chronia.

While this was a large group, the culmination of collective experiences lead to the creation of a city which met the aims outlined above.

Notable Builds
By the end of Survival 4, the City of Gaia was full of numerous builds of homes, businesses, and city services. There were too many to list them all, but below is a partial list of several of these builds.
The city/district of Bundor was officially founded on the 28th of September 2020 on Survival 4. It had some other names before the name Bundor was decided as the official name. The 3 original founders of the (back then) town were Dimitri1807, Andoni23, and Griekseyogurt, 3 brothers from the Netherlands. They first settled in the area in late August 2020, but wouldn't start building in the style Bundor would later be known for until early September.
ROOTPAGENAME was a build on the Survival 4 world of the Dogcraft Server.

About
Located on a hill along the east SRN line close to Husky Spawn, lay Brick Manor, built by Minda905. It was a castle-like, historically inspired building, mainly featuring bricks and prismarine, with a fully decorated interior of two floors and an attic.

History
The Manor was constructed as an entry for the "Battle of the Spawns"-event held during May of 2021, in which it was awarded 2nd place on Husky.

For the event, Minda decided to make a historically inspired build. By scaling down and re-texturing a piece of a castle she'd previously made in a single-player survival world (prior to joining Dogcraft), she made a version that would fit into the allowed 25x25 plot size.

In the process of building N1cM4tth3w63 came along and asked to be neighbours to which Minda agreed, and N1c got to building a house further up the hill. The two also decided to collaborate on the landscaping between the two houses, with paths, a flowing creek, a bridge, and a small covered sitting area.

Design & Layout
Exterior
The exterior walls of the manor were made up of dirt, bricks, granite, and terracotta, forming a gradient effect. The edges were lined with polished granite and stone bricks.

To counteract the otherwise very flat walls, window frames of polished granite stairs and prismarine walls, as well as several climbing vines of oak leaves, spruce fences, and lanterns were put in for details.

The foundation as well as the crenellation-like roof linings were also made up of stone bricks, while the rest of the roof was exclusively made of prismarine bricks, decorated with spires of prismarine walls and iron bars.

Two covered balconies made of dark oak, stone brick walls and prismarine, faced out from the east and south sides of the 2nd floor. On the west side lay the entrance and the covered porch with a small barbecue setup.

Interior
The manor had two floors and an attic, fully decorated, with special care taken to include a lot of colour and interesting ceiling patterns.

1st floor

ROOTPAGENAME was a village on the Survival 4 Husky world of the Dogcraft Server. It was planned and built by _Shako, who was the only resident. Blues Beach was located on the end of a peninsula into a large lake across from PinksVille and Lotus. It was 1 kilometer southwest of Vitruvius. It could be accessed by the Road and Horse Network using Blues Beach Road from Vitruvius Road or Spoons Neck Road from Lotus Isthmus Road, by the Survival Railway Network from Vitruvius, or by /phome Blues Beach.

About
A number of inspirations led _Shako to build Blues Beach. One was reading an article about Times Beach, Missouri, a riverside vacation community that was demolished in the 1980s after being contaminated with toxic oil. This reminded _Shako of Briny Beach, a dull and gray beachside in A Series of Unfortunate Events. Thirdly, the name "Blues Beach" came directly from Blues Beach, West Virginia, a riverside unincorporated community (no municipal government, under county-level jurisdiction) consisting mostly of vacation houses along the South Branch of the Potomac River. _Shako, who is from West Virginia, lives relatively near Blues Beach and has visited in person. Its name was thought by _Shako to have a connotation similar to "Briny Beach," having a dismal sound from the word "blues" referring to sadness.

With these factors in mind, the idea for Blues Beach on Dogcraft was to be a small, village-like beachside community with shack-like and rustic houses, having a vacation-home or economically depressed appearance that was simultaneously charming and unexciting.

Architecture
The structures in Blues Beach were vernacular (folk) houses, mostly taking forms found in Appalachia such as the I-house or coal company houses such as those in Cass, West Virginia. The houses were built with horizontal stripped logs to emulate clapboard siding and had small windows spaced apart. The interiors were fully built with an average of five or six rooms inside. The only buildings with commercial intent were a small shop in the center of the village, with an apartment above, and the Survival Railway Network station, which had Tudor-inspired style that evoked late-19th-century railroad stations while fitting the cottage-like theme of the village.

About
Blue22 was a company/shop created by Philip98999, helgarden7, Ewan1011, and VikingGaming1 in the Mall of the Survival 4 world. Their goal was to try to sell items at affordable prices.

History
Blue22 was created on 3 September 2020. It all started when the shop next to VikingGaming1 expired and Philip98999 rented it. The plan was that Ewan1011 would rent the shop next to Viking's shop and they would make a combined shop. But Philip rented the shop before Ewan could. Then Ewan contacted Philip on discord if they could combine Viking's and his shop. Philip agreed to it and then it all started. The name Blue22 was suggested by helgarden7 and the group agreed on that name.

Blue22 Shop
The shop of Blue22 was located at tree_a_8 and tree_a_7. The design was chosen by Philip98999, VikingGaming1 and helgarden7. It was mainly built of blue concrete and quartz. They sold their stock at an affordable price. All stock is free-range, handcrafted, and self-farmed. The shop was also protected by the Carrot Mafia, a group that User:Bbrain made.

Blue22 HQ
The construction of Blue22 HQ started in September 2020. The HQ is used to put our farms in and sometimes outside it. It's was also used to store stock for the shops. The main farm builders of Blue22 were VikingGaming1 and helgarden7. The design was chosen by VikingGaming1 and helgarden7. The block pallet was the same as that used for the shop. The building itself used about 10 shulkers of blue concrete. The HQ had its own hobbit hole made by ThisOldDog_. It was used as a shelter and some storage. ThisOldDog_ also helped terraform around the HQ.

Blue22 Bulk
Blue22 Bulk was made to sell items that the group sold by the shulker. There was currently not a lot of stuff in there but they were working on it.
Base-47, code name B-47 was the base of _Brin on the Survival 4 Beagle world of the Dogcraft Server, in the style of an ocean based scientific research colony.

Mission Brief
Several unfortunate incidents had set back the construction timetable, as well as injured many crew members. The greatest of these had been the loss of the initial IPHS, or Inter-Planetary Home Ship, which had carried the bulk of equipment and supplies needed for proper resource reclamation and auto-construction. Thankfully no lives had been lost in the incident, but the crew had been forced to abandon the vessel weeks before reaching the planet, and had had to work with only the most basic of gear found standard on the smaller short range exploration craft used to finish the trip.

History
_Brin felt they needed a challenge to inspire them again, so they decided to build in a completely new style, and also mainly underwater. Another goal was to make all builds within the base functional in some way, such as farms, storage, or even player transport. While the project was never fully finished, it was the largest and most pre-meditated work done by then.

About
Aria Shelter was an RHN Shelter, meaning that it was a shelter made as a safe place for those that traveled the roads made by RHN. It was near the entrance of Aria, an underground base made by Kinda_Lost & Phoenix_Again. Aria Shelter was one of many shelters. It could be found at <code>/phome Aria [RHN]</code>.

History
Despite having been up for a while, it didn't have the right permissions for a while. When TyrantrumGOD started documenting the different shelters on his spreadsheet, he noticed that the permissions at Aria Shelter were not up to standard. So he asked Kinda_Lost if they could make the permissions right, and a day or two later, the permissions were right.
About
Aria was the Underground City and the base of Kinda_lost & Phoenix_Again. It was also a small SRN hub between Ollie_DR's SRN Station and the East SRN station.

History
Founded on the 1st of April 2020, the Idea for Aria was created from the visuals of two intersecting Ravines and the idea to make a town that was more successful than Kinda_Lost's Survival 3 base. Before the end of Survival 4, about 220,000 blocks have been mined making this the largest project either of them had ever attempted.

Contributions to the RHN
Joining the RHN on the 12th of November 2020, Aria became a major contributor to the area around itself and east station. It made such additions as a path connecting itself to the line and improving the bridgework of the surrounding area as well as keeping the area easier to travel.

ROOTPAGENAME was the second station on the Beagle South Line in Survival 4. The station was designed and built by Montenator and N1cM4tth3w63, while blueartistic813_ was responsible for the initial idea of the station. The station would open to the public on the 29th of May 2021 alongside Fir Station.

About
The station was located next to a large body of water, between a roofed forest and a plains biome. It was predominantly made of dark oak blocks, with a birch floor and a prismarine dome for the roof. The station also featured a landscaped garden area around its vicinity. This included a small roofed seating area and a large tree in the middle of a small bay to the right of the station. To the left of the station, NTN access can be found which was built into a purple fish.

The interior of the station had two levels, the first was the main station area which featured a branch line terminal alongside the standard south line terminals. The first went to South Station while the other went towards Fir Station. Network maps and a map of the area surrounding the station were also present on this level. The second floor was much smaller but provided access to beds and other station amenities, such as ender chests and crafting tables. It could be accessed via a bubble-vator behind the map of the station. Players could return to the lower level by jumping onto the yellow carpets in the station, which had slime blocks underneath to cushion the fall.

Branch-Line Connections
The station had 1 branch line connection that was never used.
Alpine Station was the second station on the Husky South Line on Survival 4. The station was designed and built by TheWhiteTigerNL. It would be the first ever second station to open on Survival 4, opening to the public on the 4th of June 2020.

<br />

About The Station
The station was built in a medieval fantasy style. Its base was comprised of stone brick, cobblestone, and other grey blocks, topped with a ring of stripped spruce wood. The main drawing point of the station was the roof. It was built with magenta terracotta and stretched up to a point in the centre of the station. Access to the NTN could be found nestled into the side of one of the surrounding mountains just outside the station building.

Just above the station a hot air balloon could be found, a former staple feature of many SRN Stations back in Survival 1. Players could only access the balloon by flying or with an ender pearl, but the views of the area surrounding the station were worth it. Speaking of which, the area around Alpine Station was one of the most developed in all of Survival 4, with several other medieval style builds in the immediate vicinity of Alpine.

The interior featured one large circular room, which displayed the ceiling in its entirety. As well as the standard main line stops, the station featured 2 branch line terminals. The first of which was planned to lead to the Stone Exchange built by Aiyn84, then on to the base of Snuginthesun, Rosaline. The other branch line was planned to lead to the base of HeavyDork, which would feature further connections to the extensive branch line network in the southwest of Husky.

Alina Station was the second station on the Beagle East Line. The station was designed by expedtadam and built in survival by TrainerMoon. Alongside its use as the second station on the east line, the station also served the player-built City of Alina, the largest settlement on Beagle. The station was opened in a rare triple opening along side Beagle North Station and Beagle South Station on the 28th September 2020.

<br />

About The Station
The station was predominately located underground and had several staircases leading up to the surface at the central park of Alina. A yellow glass dome was the only part of the station that lied above the surface, which allowed for easy entrance and exit for elytra users, as well as trident users, with a small water pool being located on the station floor directly under the dome. The bulk of the station consisted of a large atrium, featuring main line terminals towards East Station, and Tent Station. At the opposite corner of this atrium, small corridors featuring branch line terminals were located. The station had 4 branch line terminals, although none were currently in use.

In the middle of the atrium, an entrance point to the unfinished Alina Metro could be found. The aim of the Metro was to connect various areas of the city up with smaller local stops. On the other side of the atrium, an NTN portal could be found. Around this area several station amenities were also located. These included network maps, maps of the city, and a small info board telling visitors more about Alina.

The block palette of the station consisted mainly of warm colours, with lots of orange and yellow. A combination of smooth stone, stone bricks and granite variants made up the rest of the station building.
<br />

Branch-Line Connections
The station had space for 4 branch-line connections. Neither had been claimed or planned by the end of Survival 4.
ROOTPAGENAME was the alternate base of Racram04 on the Survival 4 world of the Dogcraft Server.

About
This build in a wooded badlands was inspired by the popular video game "Surviving Mars" by Paradox Interactives. This base featured a lot of buildings replicated from the original game.

History
This build was started in April 2021. The first build was the foundation of the first dome. After that, progress was rapid. To avoid the hassle of terraforming the whole badlands biome, it was decided to make a boundary wall (which is the only thing that was not from the game) and terraform the inner region to a custom red sand biome to match the reddish surface of Mars.

ROOTPAGENAME was an event on the Husky world of Survival 4, organized and held jointly between the cities of Takeshi and Gaia. The event was conceptualized as a way of having players explore both cities in a fun way while also celebrating the cities in the face of the oncoming closure of the Survival 4 world.

Event Course
To complete the T-G Treasure Run course, players had to travel from Takeshi to Gaia while completing a treasure hunt in each city. Lining up at the start line at Takeshi's forum amphitheatre, players raced to find 5 of the 10 lime shulker boxes hidden around the city and retrieve a signed book token from each. Once they had acquired five tokens, they ran back to the start line booth to verify and receive their Takeshi completion token. Completion token in hand, players hopped on their nearby (optionally skeleton) horse and navigated to Gaia via the Road and Horse Network. Upon arriving at the horse stables on Ark Island in Gaia, players once again scurried to find 5 of the 10 hidden token boxes. When they had, they headed back to Ark Island to hand over their tokens and complete the event.

Event Day
Between 10 and 15 players gathered before the event in Takeshi with a handful bringing their own horse to compete with. Fireworks were set off and players began the race heading in all directions. almightyanna took an early lead, completing the Takeshi hunt in a slick five-minute time, closely followed by eybwam at the six-minute mark and Montenator at nine minutes. The journey to Gaia proved challenging for some who were unfamiliar with the roads. After around 15 minutes of hunting in Gaia, eybwam emerged victorious, returning all five Gaia tokens and a Takeshi completion token at around the 30-minute mark. In second was almightyanna, followed by Minda905 in third place. strawberrysham had the distinction of being the first (and only) player to complete the event while riding a pig.

<br>
The top three finishers won various memorabilia items from Takeshi and Gaia, such as: a murderous anvil from a Gaia court case, a block from Gaia Castle, a custom Takeshian sword, and calendar map art. Various city or horse themed spots prizes were given to all participants.

This guide will walk you through how to download your builds from one of the Survival 4 worlds (Husky or Beagle) of the Dogcraft.net server. This is not something you would normally be allowed to do. However, since the worlds are coming to a close and will be reset along with the server's 1.18 update, downloads are once again temporarily permitted. (Like they were directly before the resets of previous worlds.) Please keep in mind that once Survival 5 starts, this process will once again be against the rules!

The World Downloader mod used during previous resets has not updated to support 1.17. For Survival 4, world downloads can be made using the Mircokroon's Minecraft World Downloader java tool. This is not a mod, so the process to use the tool is a little bit different! This program works by intercepting the world data that is being sent to you by the Dogcraft.net server and downloading it onto your computer.

Only download builds from one world and one dimension at a time! If you have locations you want to save on both Husky and Beagle, you shouldn’t make the downloads for both of them on the same file, otherwise data may be overwritten or lost. To be safe, use the world naming feature to organize your downloads!

__TOC__
----
Prerequisites: Installing Java 16 or higherDownloading Java
Before starting, you’ll first need to have the Java Development Kit (JDK) version 16 or higher installed on your computer. Minecraft runs on Java, but it comes bundled with the game. Even though your computer can run Minecraft, it might not actually have the required version of Java installed. This site has instructions on how to check what version of Java you have.

The easiest way to get the Java Development Kit (JDK) is from Oracle’s website at https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#java17. Follow the steps on the installer to download and install Java to your system, then restart your computer if you are asked to do so. When you are done, you can check your java version again to make sure it is now ≥16.0

Step 1: Downloading the program
Download the tool we are using from https://github.com/mircokroon/minecraft-world-downloader/releases/tag/v1.14.9 Choose the <code>.exe</code> file on Windows and the <code>.jar</code> file on macOS, and place it in a new folder. The downloader program will put the world download into the same folder as the tool. You can now open the program to set up downloading! (Check the #Troubleshooting section if you encounter any difficulties)

Step 2: Configuring the program
This tool requires some configuration before starting a download. First, head to the “World” tab, and name the download you are making using the "World output" field. This will be the name of the finished download file, so it should be something that makes it clear what the file contains!

If you’d like to neatly blend your downloads in with the natural generation of the Husky or Beagle world, you can also do this here by entering the correct world seed. The seed is also required if you want nether fortresses or other generated features to work. Adding the seed will continue to generate the untouched version of the rest of the world outside of the chunks you saved once you open your finished file in single player.

We recommend leaving any settings on the "General", "Realms" or "Authentication" tabs alone since they are not a requirement and may cause unintended issues with your download. Only touch these if you know what you are doing!

When you're done with configuring everything, head back to the “Connection” tab and enter into the Server address bar the IP of Dogcraft, <code>server.dogcraft.net</code>. (The server and local port bars should be left blank.) The last thing you need to do to get ready to download is open up Minecraft 1.17.

Step 3: Creating a download
With the program configured, press “Start” and the program will prepare for downloading. In Minecraft, don’t join Dogcraft.net! Instead, in the multiplayer menu, use the “Direct Connect” option to connect to the address "<code>localhost</code>"! After clicking “join server” you will be put onto Dogcraft.net.

You can now use the menu to join Husky or Beagle and download what you want to save. The program will be downloading everything (including the Hub) from the moment you log on. Once you’ve reached the location where you want to start downloading, you can click on the map and select “Delete all downloaded chunks” to reset your download. This way, you can prevent your file from including stuff like the server lobby and random bits of land from where you last logged off. It is also possible to pause/resume the save by right clicking on the map and selecting the appropriate option which is another way to avoid downloading unintended chunks.

You can now start walking around the world wherever you’d like to download chunks. Like the with the previous World Downloader mod, the contents of chests and other inventory objects will only be saved if you open them. You can check the interactive map in the download tool to view which chunks you’ve downloaded, however the map is sometimes a little inaccurate. Purple/red colored chunks are ones currently being downloaded, while normal colored ones have already finished being saved.

Step 4: Finishing your download
Once you’re done with your save, right click on the map and select “Save & Exit”. You will be disconnected from the server, and the downloaded world will be saved in the folder you placed the world downloader tool.

As a reminder, you shouldn’t change dimensions or worlds mid-download. Instead, Save & Exit from the download and repeat the process of starting a new download by changing the name in the "World Output" option of the "World" tab.

Checking a download
You can check that your download completed successfully by copying the downloaded world file into your /saves/ folder in your .minecraft directory and opening it in single player.
----

Adding your download to the wiki
As was done with previous worlds, the Dogcraft Wiki invites you to upload your downloads to help archive and preserve the history of the server. To upload a world download, simply right click and zip the completed download and you can have it added to the wiki's download archive (on the page World Downloads) by submitting it using this google form, through the wiki discord's #world-downloads channel, or by getting in contact with a Wiki Administrator (<code>@William#5204, @darparniox#6135 or @domino#3355</code>) on discord. You should make sure your download is nice and clean first and should give the zipped folder a descriptive name that includes your username so that it can easily be identified by the Wiki team. Thank you for your contributions!

<br />
Caveats & Troubleshooting
Caveats
*Opening chests or other containers while downloading may result in a warning letting you know that the chunk isn’t loaded. You can usually safely ignore this.
*It is not possible to save the contents of books on lecterns at the moment, an alternative way to preserve those is being considered.
*In game maps must be displayed in item frames to be saved.
*Entities will keep their names, but loose all other unique properties, such as being tamed or their version. (eg.: every sheep will be white in the downloaded save)

<br />

TroubleshootingTroubleshooting
Before attempting anything else, restart the program and/or your computer to see if that fixes the issue!

*If you encounter difficulties while authenticating using the downloader tool, please check the https://github.com/mircokroon/minecraft-world-downloader/wiki/Authentication site, or ask staff for help.
*Your computer might not recognize the program and attempt to block it (eg.: with Microsoft SmartScreen or the built in firewall). Click through these, the tool is safe.
*If you encounter a JNI error when launching the program: Open the command line/terminal and type: <code>java -version</code>, hit enter then type <code>javac -version check</code> to make sure both of these commands return the same java version. If not please restart your computer, then try again. Now add the JDK 16+ version of Java to your system path. (Windows guide)
*If you updated Java to the latest version but are still getting errors, you might only the Java JRE, while the program requires Java JDK to run. (#Prerequisites: Installing Java 16+)

<br />

You can now start walking around the world wherever you’d like to download chunks. Like the with the World Downloader mod, the contents of chests and other inventory objects will only be saved if you open them.

Instead, Save & Exit from the download and repeat the process of starting a new download.

<br />

<br />

TroubleshootingTroubleshooting
Before attempting anything else, restart the program or your computer to see if that fixes the issue!

The City of Gaia, or simply Gaia, is an under-construction Mediterranean-style city on the Survival 4 Husky world of the Dogcraft Server. Inspired by Venice, Gaia features twisting canals cutting through a densely packed urban landscape. The city was founded on the launch day of the Survival 4 world; the 1st April 2020, by a council of people comprised of leaders of Survival 3 city projects such as Ouranos, Chronia, and Erebus.

General Layout
The main part of the city is a Venetian-style complex with canals running throughout the city creating another way for players to travel throughout. This area is positioned at the southern bay such that the south end of the city borders the sea. At this border, there is also a commercial harbor connecting the city to the outer world. Surrounding the other three fronts of the city are large granite mountains, terraformed by the Council and Senate members.

Plots
Instead of plots with a specific layout, the Council grants people more flexibility with their building areas. Because of this, people are given larger plots of land to develop within allowing them to be more creative with the shape of their structures. The intent is to create a more interesting and developed area. As always, the leadership encourages builders to stretch themselves and to try more complicated techniques, such as diagonals. Since the style of Gaia is rather specific, and to maintain a level of quality, all potential citizens (called Applicant Citizens) will be required to build a small sample of their build in creative prior to building it within Gaia in Survival.

Build Style and Theme
The style of buildings within Gaia is, as previously mentioned, Mediterranean. The general era would be Renaissance, and thus would be mostly based on terracotta, stone, sandstone, brick, etc. with less emphasis on wood as would be seen in medieval builds. Numerous reference images and ideas can be found within the #inspiration-images channel on the Gaia Discord.

The Council and Senate members have built several example buildings on Isola Delle Nocci to help show the desired style and kick-start the building process of Applicant Citizens.

Name Etymology
Gaia is the name of the Greek primordial goddess of the earth (being the daughter of Chaos). Naming of the city Gaia follows in the Dogcraftian tradition. The symbolism in our logo is twofold: the sun represents the Mediterranean climate, and the laurel wreath links to both the heritage of this part of the world (being a symbol used by both Romans and Greeks in antiquity), and also being a symbol of plants coming from "Mother Earth". The Blue and Orange represents the granite mountains reaching up into the blue sky.

Management
The leadership of Gaia manifests as the Council and the Senate. The City Council Members are the main leadership of the project being responsible for Executive Duties and the overall direction of Gaia. Below them are the Senate Members who are responsible for helping manage and plan the city, as well as terraforming and building the infrastructure.

While this is a large group, the culmination of collective experiences leads to the creation of a city which meets the aims outlined above.

While this is a large group, the culmination of collective experiences leads to the creation of a city which meets the aims outlined above.

|sur4subworld=Husky}}

Design
The station was designed mostly by nossi_ after it was decided to have the first West-Line station on the Husky world be in the city of Gaia. It was themed after a Mediterranean style of building to fit into the city. Using mostly orange terracotta and red sand(stone) blocks combined with some regular sand, diorite and dark oak trimmings gives the building form.

The station was designed to have the platform in the middle and entrances from both side. The building is in fact mirrored for both sides.
<br />

History
The station location wasn't that easy to pin down. As West-Line manager Skelleton123 was a bit late to the party after the new world launched, there were few options left. Completely West from spawn is a large ocean making it harder to lay track and to build a station. Going even further West would make the track too long and players had already settled down. Going shorter wouldn't give much opportunity for players to settle. In the end, as Skelleton123 was also part of the Gaia crew, it was decided to have the station within the city.
<br />

Station Facilities
Like most SRN stations, players are provided with a map of the surrounding area, crafting tables, enderchests, a map of the SRN network, some beds to shelter from phantoms, and space for 4 branch-line connections in the basement. Unlike most stations, the NTN connection is not part of the station. Next to the station is a church-style building, designed and built by DragonFire441, which houses the NTN portal and horse stables.
<br />

Branch-Line Connections
The station has space for 4 branch-line connections. At least 2 have been planned right now; one connecting to the City of Takeshi and the other to the base of Montenator.

The Council Members are: DragonFire441, nossi345, Cookies58_, and RY44 from Chronia, misterblue28 from Ouranos, dmgdog from Erebus, and marbou9, the first citizen of Havana.

The Senators are: almightyanna, Arkhangellsk, Domino_1, ebi_furya, googly2002, Kingcreeper1, Skelleton123 and William278.

While this is a large group, the culmination of collective experiences leads to the creation of a city which meets the aims outlined above.

Timeline
*29 March, 2020 - Gaia Direct Discord meeting held. This meeting laid out the groundwork for the project moving into the new Survival 4 world.
*1 April 2020 - Survival 4 world officially launches. The Gaia team quickly locates a suitable area West of Spawn.
*8 May 2020 - The City of Gaia had a soft opening where new citizens were allowed to begin claiming areas to build.
*16 June 2020 - William278 steps down as Council Member to become a Senator.
Bastion Glace (/bastjɔ̃ ɡlase/) is French for Ice Castle or Frosted Fortress. It was the 4th station on the SRN West Line for the Survival 3 world. The station was based at the edge of an ice-plain biome and designed to look like a fortress.

Design
The station was inspired by a fortress design. There were towers on each corner, each with there specific purpose, a horse stable, gate and of course a big platform for the SRN lines. The station also provided 3 possible connections for Branch Lines.

The block pallet was chosen to represent a weather affected fortress build. Inspired by Ren's dojo roof on the Hermitcraft series, the choice was made to top off the roofs with red nether bricks.

History
The station's location was planned shortly after its predecessor Balaton was opened up. Thinking it might take a couple of weeks or months to complete, the path towards it and the location itself where marked by stone and red concrete powder pillars.

Skelleton123 had planned on building the line and station over the summer. However, the line and station were designed and constructed during the second part of June 2019 and the first 2 weeks of July 2019 taking up a construction time of approximately 1 month.

Station Facilities
Like any other SRN Station, Bastion Glace offered 2 platforms for the SRN line, a map of the surrounding area, enderchest, crafting tables, and a NTN portal. The North Western tower housed a Phantom Shelter and under the maproom there was a small horse stable. Furthermore, the station offered up to 3 connections for Branch Lines.
