On all survival servers, in all 4 directions, initial lines leave the main hub out to minihubs at 20,000 overworld blocks. Plans are to extend past the minihubs and have "rings" connecting the cardinal directions.

All tunnels are at Y=100. North, south, east and west tunnels are along "0" X and Z coordinates (Hub is at 0,0)

Player stops can be built by anyone. These can be used to connect your base(s) to the NTN. In Survival5, tunnel design was made with connection creativity in mind! The tunnels have wide sections, with extra height.

Here are the guidelines for designing and building your connection to the NTN:

*Do not connect directly to a hub, go to one side and connect to a tunnel.
*Entrances must be built between two "arches".
*Don't build into the tunnel farther than the bone blocks (ie you can replace the bone, but not go farther).
*Players must not remove or change the slabs inside the tunnel. This means you will need to get out of your boat to transfer to your tunnel :P
*Boat dispensers and collectors should be added to encourage players to keep boats off the track and avoid angering piglins.
*Tunnel designs must be spawnproof to at least 30 blocks from the entrance. Of course, we recommend you spawnproof your entire tunnel!
*Place a sign at the entrance with who/what is down the tunnel. An indication of which way the hub is located is also very helpful for travellers.
*If the section of a tunnel you wish to build in is claimed, please contact the claim owner.

The [[Dogcraft.net|Dogcraft]] Server features buying and selling plugins that allow players to create "chest-shops" or "slab-shops" that can be used to buy or sell items for the server's currency, [[Dogcraft Dollars]]. The [[Mall (Survival 4)|Mall]] is a designated area for these exchanges to take place.

This guide will help you through the Mall experience step by explaining the physical mall layout, using the shops in plots, and how to create your own shop.

 
=Navigating the Mall=

The Mall can be accessed in the same fashion that any world can be selected on the Dogcraft server. Namely, type the command <code>/servers</code> into chat. An inventory popup will appear, with several icons on the top row. Select the chest icon, which can be found beside the two pickaxes, and you will be teleported to the Mall.

You will enter the Mall in it's center. The Mall can be a daunting area to begin with, but it has several cues that can help you to navigate it.

Once you have loaded into the area, look directly down. You will find a map of the area at your feet. In addition there are information boards around the mall with maps. The map will reveal that the Mall is made up of four hubs, one in each corner of a square, and connected by paths.

Each corner hub of the Mall has it's own name and symbol:

These symbols are portrayed by banners and a statue of each in the center of their corner hub. Examples of banners can be seen whilst looking directly upwards from the spawn location of the mall.

Each floor of the building has it's own letter. The bottom floor is A, ranging up to the highest which is C (not opened at time of writing). Different levels can be accessed by the water spouts at the Mall spawn point or by staircases along the corridors.

Navigation poles in the center of the corridors of the Mall use a combination of both symbol and letter to indicate your location. Reading these will give you an idea of the area you are in. For example ''tree_a_14'' is located in the Tree area, floor A (ground floor), shop #14. Players will often use this notation for communicating shop locations in chat if you are looking for something in particular.

= Server Shops =
There are four public service shops in the centre hub of the mall:

* Simon's Shulkers Lost & Found: Contains traders for buying plugin tools and warp cards to the endfarm and pigfarm community farms. After purchasing the warp tokens, "use" the token to activate it before using the warp [[List of Commands|commands]]. The delicious present is yours to keep or consume!
* Warm Gossip: Sells Rendog outfits, community banners, and a rotating selection of miniblocks and armour stands.

Dogcraft is a large public server, which requires some changes to vanilla Java Minecraft in order to balance the game and make it fun for everyone, no matter when they join in the server's lifecycle.

|content=Even though the community is moderated and people mostly abide by the rules, this can unfortunately happen at times. The best course of action is to first check if a member of staff is around and working on it. If so, you should have nothing to worry about. If not, document the offence by taking a screenshot and messaging a member of staff, or using the report function available on the main site.
 
The issue will be looked into as soon as possible and we thank you for your help, it is appreciated. We strongly advise against dealing with the issue yourself to prevent you from getting warned for back-seat moderating, but if you can't resist the urge, please continue with caution and the awareness you might be breaking a rule yourself.

|title=How do I use the server's trader merchants?
|content=Yep, the server has some custom villagers, amazing huh?! These items were implemented to allow a certain feature to function properly or to balance the Game Modes a little better.
 
To use these special villagers, you can visit the Mall and trade with them. Server merchants are dressed as Wandering Traders and can be found in the Lost & Found store at the centre plaza of the Mall.
Currently the major trades of the merchants are Enderman and Pigman farm warp cards. There is also McBuffy, in jail in Azkaban, who sells player buffs. 
There is a chance for special seasonal merchants to sell decorative heads at various times of the year.

|content=Unfortunately, most bans given on the Minecraft Server are permanent. |title=When is the Server being updated to the latest version?
|content=A new version of Minecraft is out? Awesome! When will the Server update? Unfortunately, updating a Server isn't as easy as updating your Minecraft client; a lot more goes into it than meets the eye. Most Minecraft Servers, including ours, use a lot of plugins to make the Server room the way it does. All of these need to be updated to work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Some of those are under our control, but for most plugins we need to wait for the developers to release a new version. These new versions all need to be stable and bug-free. After that they all need to be installed and tested on the Server to make sure everything works as it should, this takes a lot of time and effort. All in all, we can't tell exactly when the Server will be updated, but we try our best to get it done as fast as possible, but most importantly as smoothly as possible. Please be patient and keep an eye out on the Dogcraft Discord <code>#announcements</code> channel for any information!

|content=The {{Rank|Helper}} rank is a special rank held by three unique people each month. The purpose of this rank is to grant players who the staff have observed to be very helpful in the community the ability to help players with basic tasks. The tasks include helping new players to link, showing them around, helping them with commands and overall provide general information about the server. Every month, the helpers are selected by the Headmods, usually on the first of the month, and otherwise a few days later if there's any delay. It is important to note that this is not a staff rank, it is a title. The Head Moderators introduced this rank to take some of the workload off the [[Ranks#Mod|moderators]], especially in busy times such as when [[ReNDoG|Rendog]] is streaming on the server. It cannot be applied for in any way, however if you wish to become one, being an extremely helpful rule-abiding Cyberdog is a great way to start!
