If you are a big Rendog fan, you have probably seen a lot of Hermitcraft. And i am curious: what are your favorite and least favorite Hermits on season 5 and what are your favorite and least favorite bases on the server. Here are mine (i haven't watched Biffa, iJevin or Etho, if anyone wants to tell me what their bases look like, thanks a lot):
Favorite Hermits: Cub and Scar. I love Jarvis and the Cub Hub and Scar loves the same animal as me. Also: Hail the ConVex!
Least favorite Hermits: JoeHills and TFC. They are pretty boring.
Favorite bases: Tango has a great base, but i also love Falses island and Xisuma's mini biome projects. And i love the concept of Rens base, even though it isn't as impressive as these 3. But it looks great at night!
Least favorite bases: Zombiecleo. It has nothing impressive in my opinion, it doesn't look epic, has no extremely cool complex redstone contraptions and isn't extremely big.
Also, who is happy xB is back? I definitly am!

I try to watch them all, but many have fallen through the cracks unfortunately.

But! My favorite hermitcrafters are:
Scar:
I am am injured and sick person trying to make a living online, and Scar is my inspiration to say the least... I am always amazed at his ability to push through and make impressively huge builds.  Also cats. ^.^
Ren:
of course... I play a Let's play and gague how far along I *should* be based off of how far he has gotten.
Falsey:
My wife Crazybees loves False, and as a result I have seen all of her videos; her island in season 5 looks very much like something I would build, including the crazy modern dome in the middle.
Zedaph:
The dude is funny.

As far as bases go, Scar's is definitely my favorite, but False's is a close second.

I am a builder and have a hard time with redstone, so my least favorite are probably the redstoners, but not because they aren't talented... it's just not my bag.

Yeah, Zedaph has the best intro's on the server. And i'm not the biggest redstone fan either.

Only looking at their base, Tango takes that crown easily if you ask me.

Other Hermits I watch every Hermitcraft-video from:
- Rendog: OFC!!!
- Iskall85
- Mumbo
- Xisuma

What I like in them is the comedy-value. The don't just place blocks and talk, but they make it entertaining. You can feel how much they love the game while watching them...

Well, Scar has to be right at the top, he is a truly impressive builder. I also know a little about what it's like living with a disability, so there's sympathy on that level too.

Cubfan comes a close second, he's redefined my idea of "endgame" minecraft. Endgame isn't killing withers and endraiding, endgame is building an iron-golem-maker to battle skeletons because you want a more entertaining way to get bone-blocks than grinding at your skelly spawner

It's a given that i'm a Convex fan ^^

Mumbo was the first Hermit i watched, in early season 4, and where i first learned of farming and what one could do with redstone and such ^^

Tango and False are both impressive builders and very efficient players, when they play UHC or similar i'll definitely follow those two

Rendog, Iskall, Xisuma, Impulse are all also good to watch

I actually really like JoeHills ^^ i don't think he's all that good a minecrafter, but i really enjoy his ramblings, they're comfy in my head ^^

I watch and have watched at least some of most of the other hermits, and have improved my builds a little thanks to all of them ^^

I went a little crazy at the start of Season 5 and literally watched EVERY video by EVERY hermit. That quickly became just too much, but I did discover new hermits that I still enjoy today. I catch every video of Ren, Iskall, Xisuma, Scar, Mumbo, and Zedaph and the occasional ones of Cub, False, and Tango. If Etho were still playing, I'd watch all his too. Ok, so I actually do watch all of Etho's videos still... When XB was playing, I watched his mainly to see what he was doing to convert the mansion, but that was about all. Cleo, TFC, and Joe I don't really watch and only get their updates from the Recap. They're good players, but just not my style of player I guess.

So that's about where I'm at now. I can only really compare this to Season 4 as that's when I started watching them play, but 5 blows 4 way out of the water in terms of the scale of their bases. I'm pretty sure Season 6 will fall in line with the 1.13 update, and I can't wait to see what underwater creations these evil geniuses come up with.

I like Ren's base, although some green would fit the theme. Part of Iskall's prank that he didn't change back shows that a bit of green added to the colorpalette won't hurt.

False, well, wow, she really made her base this time. Better than in season 4, she now has space to grow.
Cubfan, Always love is eccentric way of building, not really fancy but neither ugly. I followed his let's play also (sadly he stopped making video's about it)
Welsknight, I guess he;s a bit burned out with his castle/keep build. But still awesome.
Tango and Impulse, the geniuses on the server with their complex farms and both brilliant builds.
Mumbo, awesome redstone guy, and he started to do some designing and building!

Iskall, too much focus on the puppets all around the server.... I followed him for a long while and was a fan of his 2015 island base and videos.

What I'm missing in this season... the collaboration. The community area is amazing to see. But it's a bit quiet. I was a fan of the old brown district.. Maybe something for season 6, bringing back the little economy of diamonds? Atleast, bring back more of an active area where you see more common activity. Although I really like the hermits each on their own with room to create their own bases.. so it's a bit of two worlds

I like the fact the Hermits do less collabs and focus more on their bases. It will make it much more exciting to download the world when it's done.

My top people would have to be Ren, Iscal, and Cub. Ren tells great stories. Iscal just for the reactions to all the pranks. The block of the week had to be the best one. Cub not only because his underground base was so amazing but also the invading space cows were very funny.
