Id like to know what resource pack you guys use, I want to change mine but don't know witch one to get.

Making an assumption here that you're referring to a resource pack? If that's the case, I'm currently using the latest version of the new "official" textures from Mojang. I figure if that's what they're going to be changing to, I may as well use them now so that my base looks good when the new textures roll out.

I'm using those as well. Want to get used to them for when the update arrives! It ain't that bbad either...

I always use Realistic Sky by Fire Eagle (requires optifine)  This pack does HD sky, stars, clouds and nicer sunsets.  It's just sky and doesn't touch other textures.  It cycles through several different sky pictures depending on time of day and weather. 


Since this is just the sky, I can add this on top of whatever other texture pack I feel like using at the moment.  Usually I leave the rest vanilla or use the new textures test pack.

I use the new resource pack, similar to other people. So I can get used to it. I used to use faithful 32 though.
But I love me some clear glass so I have a clear glass texture pack over top of the new minecraft one.
Plus I also use a couple of vanilla tweaks like lower fire and brighter nether.
I also use dramatic skies. But those screenshots of yours look pretty good Kwiz. I’ll have to give them a try.

I didn't know you could use anything but Optifine. Now Im going to try both the new textures from Mojang and the realistic sky. That looks amazing.

As others before me, I also use the Version 2 of Mojang's new textures, made by Jappa. I combine this with a little bit of Xisumavoid's Vanilla Tweaks, with the following changes (in Vanilla Tweaks, you can mix and match changes that you like, to sort of create your own texturepack):
- Hoppers with arrows on top, to see where they point
- Clearer redstone (less 'dusty', more of a clear line)
- The sides of sticky pistons have slime on them, to see in complicated contraptions if the pistons are sticky or not
- More realistic water (a lighter shade of blue, and more transparent)
- Better pumpkins (slightly less obtrusive when worn on your head) and shields (slightly smaller in the off-hand)
- Quieter netherportals

I use a custom pack mostly for sound. Taking out the annoying villager and minecart sounds is worth it. Yes packs do sound too . As for everyone doing the new one just to "get use to it" you can bet that if they make it default within a day there will be a retro pack
