Just on time for the upcoming season a mail service is offered for all players on Survival2. You will be able to ship items (with the exception of an elytra) to other players. So if you want to return a borrowed beacon or present someone with some juicy bacon this service might help you out.

All players can post items to mailbox owners. You can become a mailbox owner free of charge when you have been playing for longer than five days on the dogcraft server. Please contact me (Joschija) to allocate you a mailbox. You even have the possibility to customize your mailbox by placing down some blocks that might identify you.

There are certain rules for the mail service:
1.   No elytras are allowed to be shipped and will be handed over to the authorities.
2.   Once the items are placed into a mailbox of a player they belong to that player and may not be taken or demanded back.
3.   Mailbox owners do only own the items in the mailbox but not the mailbox itself.

How does this work? is it a service provided by the server or is it just something that you will go and deliver these items?

Very interesting service idea, Joschija. In our city of Akkara which is currently under construction, we will eventually need a mail office of sorts, and this could tie into your server-wide service in some way in the future.
