Anyone trying project ozone lite?

Apparently I'm highly suggestible, after watching a few episodes of Hermit Skies, I thought I'd give it a try. It's different, that's for sure. Still making up my mind, but it's been eating up a lot of my free time and I haven't really been on the dogcraft server because of it. On the other hand, my ideas for when I get back to smp with the cyberdogs are percolating and perhaps will be better for it with a clearer vision of how I want to proceed with my projects. Poor forgotten mountainside village, I shall return some day.

POL (Project Ozone Lite) really adds a lot of grind, I feel. Which isn't bad in itself if you're into such a thing. Not super keen on the available mass storage options, I do miss my Refined Storage and cannot figure out the ME networks even with online resources. Otherwise, essentially the entire thing is basically making a base and building islands in the sky which I guess is essentially what skyblock is like? It *is* nice to have an unlimited, easy supply of obsidian to work with, though. Trying to do anything like I'm working on in vanilla survival will not be happening. The OP carbon pick pretty much necessitates obsidian flooring in my case, it's a loooong drop if my floor goes poof.

i haven't tried lite, simply because between now and when i played PO2, the launcher changed to require a twitch account and i'm not going to make one of those just to play modpacks, but my brother plays it and it doesn't look too much more complicated than PO2
