this hasn't been much of a problem recently but I think it would be cool if we add an iron farm to the end XP farm. the iron would be made into anvils and placed for players to use. maybe I could make a chest selling them for like 50 ea. it's just a proposal that Ivory though was good. and I have tested that iron farms do work in the end

No, we shouldn't do that because that would make the end warp card OP, and then people who used to sell iron at 4 DCD would have to give away iron/sell iron for 1 DCD. It's just like why we don't have a public mob farm.

The endfarm is already OP and the iron can only be used to make anvils. Its just for the end farm and only that. It would have no harm to people who sell iron

Saying the iron is only for anvils is nice and all, but it would be a tedious task to keep track of.
At some point in the history of dogcraft they decided that no public anvils where available for the sole reason that mods had a dayjob replacing them, if I remember some posts from the old forum correctly.

This farm would be at the end farm. If the mods like ill craft the iron into the anvils and give them to j0n. I just think the iron would be made as the farm is being used. And if there are no public anvils then why are there anvils at the farm at all?

There is no reason for an Iron Farm to be added to the End Farm.  If the goal is to give players access to free anvils, then a command block would work just as well since you'd have to find a way to autocraft them anyways.

With that said, the anvils at the End Farm and Pigman Farms were never meant to be infinite.  They were provided originally by admins and then refilled by players donating their anvils while the admins were online so that they could be replaced.  Providing infinite (free) anvils at the farms causes issues where people no longer need to create their own anvils.
