So its beeb changed AGAIN back to automatic from manual disposal? The main reason it was changed in the first place was to stop this happening... Just leave it at manual it doesn't hurt someone to just dispose of them gees...

It was a healthy argument to begin with, and included no negativity.

To address the issue the thread is based on: I think duplication or exploits are a bad thing, and that duplicating or otherwise "unnaturally" producing certain things would be a bad thing, especially for the Mall.

Now, for the other situation that was just brought up. Our mods on here do the best that they can, and a lot of their job is to make judgement calls. Anyone that bashes them should be ashamed of themselves. If all you want to do it bad mouth people who are doing their best, then please, for everyone's sake, leave the amazing server and forum that I call home and go somewhere else.

So you are flat out calling me rude, being offensive, accusing ne of callibg the moderstors useless, sayibg I turned this whole conversation negative. Oh and telling ME to leave? That's just flat out disrespectful. I was NOT dissing anyone, sorry if it felt that way, but I wasn't. I don't know what the hell I've done but apparently alot of people, you included Warped, seem to hate me. For no apparent reason. Oh and I know many signs of that. If you hace a problem with me tell me in pm. That last part of your message deserved no place in this debate. But you know what? If you're just going to be incredibly disrespectful, which is disallowed, then don't even involve yourself with me. I don't guve a care in the world for people who arw disrespectful to me in 'public'.

(Oh and by the way, I was deliberately being hypocritical there with that entire first point).

And see? What Vic has said is a prime example of what I ment by the old staff dealt with things better. And I wasn't blaming anyone for anything.

This server has changed so much since I've joined... I think in a negative way too. People seem to do nothing but argue over petty things like this. Back then, the moderatprs would simply answer honestly and then everyone would move along. Since all these new moderators have been elected the server has drasticly changed. I propose the server just goes back to the way it used to be. There are too many people asking for things and moderators not fulfilling their duties and makibg sure everyone understands.

You don't need to advertise to get people to buy things. People will eventually find your shop. Getting people to buy isn't everything there are other ways to get dcd and dcd isn't even all that useful

I would like to point out that the piston elevator glitch, which is fixed as of 1.11, is very different from a sand transforming glitch.

The piston elevator took advantage of the translocation bug. The sand transforming glitch is exploiting a different mechanic of the game, so it's not a fair comparison to make in the glitch department.

Now, you have been given an answer, it may not be the answer you were hoping for, but you have been given one. I would suggest you accept that the exploitation of the sand glitch is not allowed on the server because it takes away from the vanilla feel of the server.  I myself have gone exploring for mesa to get red sand, and I personally will continue to do so because I like the exploration part of the game. I find it exciting to go looking for new places. I would suggest that if you are needing to find a mesa, use the Dynamap and see what areas haev already been explored, and where there could possibly be a mesa you can use.

Actually its not a completely different comparison... They are both game bugs and in my eyes if one is allowed so should be other. Just accept the fact that somw bugs may be "over-powered" and some aren't.. But that translocation bug was over powered and it was allowed. If that was allowed there should be no reason for the sand transmutation to be allowed.

Giving easy access to something that isn't usually in mass supply isn't exactly a positive thing for the economy if that's what your trying to say.  And as for that, there's a mining Mesa, which almost anyone will tp you to if you ask, I have several I offer people who ask, and others do as well, traveling is really not an issue if you have a bit of patience and kindly ask where do aquire it.

The fact still stands that ONE mining mesa for the community is NOT an infinite supply of one resource, now divide that number of mesas (1) by the amount of people that play on the server (hundreds) and the that number is the FAIR share of what people would get from that mesa... Its not exactly much. So good luck having that in the future that everyone can use. Because it will have run out, and it shan't be my problem, just trying to save you time with not having to find a new one, but maybe you don't see the reasoning behind my thoughts, people rarly do.

Would it be such a big problem if transforming sand would be good by the rules. I don't think this will have bad consequences  for anyone. Only good ones.

That I agree with, I think making it allowed would do the server good.

There is a Mesa specifically designed for mining resources, along with handfuls of mesas in a reasonable minecraft traveling distance, and once claimed, there's plenty of red sand there for the taking.

A machine such as this is exploiting a bug in minecraft, which isn't playing minecraft the way it was intended, from the way I see it, vanilla minecraft doesn't have an alchemy skill, so the equivalent exchange isn't a thing.

So is this yet another case of the server not allowing things making lives a nightmare for people who just want some items but have to travel increadibly far just to get a resource only because everyone there before took what was there? Because that is highly unfair. You should have a few places at spawn where people CAN transmutate it. Transmutation may not be intended but in the case of the server being so popular it should be allowed. I think it would actually get more people to the server, so you may want to consider it, I may be banned from the server but I'm still thinking for the economy of the server.

I was thinking pretty much the samae thing too, I was more thinking though "Why the hell is all he uploads now just HermitCraft and HermitPack, what ever happened to Survival and Base Tours?" It's kinda annoying I think, as a viewer I would much rather a veriety of MineCraft content than just HermitCraft and HermitPack, I think we should tell Ren this, because I'm not really enjoying his "Hermit" content when its all he makes, its a good point to mention Toaks, thank you :)

I don't know, sorry, but I think there is a splitting tool in some editting programs, meaning you would probably select where you want to split it and then be done. But I'm not sure, I don't make videos... yet :P

Hello everyone I am new to the website and server.  My name is Jp. Minecraft Username is jpthewiseman13.  I am kind of new to Minecraft.  I had a lousy computer up until this year that I only used for watching youtube I had purchased Minecraft about 2 years ago but it ran with barely 20 FPS.  But this year I now have a HP pavilion Laptop running intel Core i5 with a whopping 12 Gb of ram. Sadly it runs Intel HD graphics but it runs smooth for Minecraft with a good 60+ FPS.  I use a Logitech mouse.  I do not have a youtube channel yet but I look forward to starting one in the future. I have been a fan of Rendog since his Vanilla Season 2 video series.  Rendog is a very unique youtuber. I love his vids and livestreams. Too bad a lot of them may take place really early in the morning for me due to timezones but I make the ones I can.
P.S. I suck at grammar so sorry for the horrible mistakes if there is any.
Looking forward to seeing some of you on the server.

Hey Jp! Welcome to the server and forums! :D have a really good time :) I'll try not bug you for grammical errors, although that's what I do alot ;P lol. Anyway, enjoy your stay, pleased to meet you :)
